By far, the best, most courteous florist in Santa Barbara. I visit Riley's about once every 2 months to pick up flowers for my beautiful wife, family, and friends. The designers at Riley's ask me about the occasion, ask me my budget, and a few key questions about preferences. Then they create the most beautiful arrangements. I feel like I always get a lot for my money and the flowers last a long time. The team there is courteous and quick, even when there's a lot of holiday orders. My only complaint is that I don't live close enough to stop by more often and pick up small bunches of flowers to have more around my house. This is one of my favorite Santa Barbara businesses. It wasn't that I forgot our anniversary, but she was traveling and it didn't occur to me that I could sent flowers to her hotel. Called up Yelp and the first 3 florists I called in SB not only told me it was too late for a same-day delivery, they were, uh, less than friendly in their response. Then I called Riley's, and Rachel was happy to help. She put together a beautiful arrangement and even delivered it herself after closing the shop at 6. Like they say, Happy Wife, Happy Life. After the flood here in Montecito, one of my loved ones was hospitalized. Riley's Flowers attempted to deliver flowers to her, but delivery was refused because of the hospital's privacy policy for flood victims. Rachel at Riley's was so kind. She even said she would go there herself after work to try to get the flowers delivered, but that couldn't happen either. I will never forget the sincerity in Rachel's voice and her dedication to helping. I have become a devoted client and will always use Riley's anytime I need flowers! More...

Rachel made my wedding beautiful! I have expensive taste and when I was planing my wedding I needed to figure out how to make a vintage shabby chic wedding look exquisite but on a very limited budget. I shopped around for a florist but I felt that I was going to get what I wanted for the price I was looking for from Riley's Flowers. I was so happy on my wedding day when I was given my bouquet I couldn't stop looking at it and smiling. When I looked at the centerpieces I was so happy with the way the arrangements looked! I was lucky enough to be the recipient of flowers when I was under the weather. The bouquet arrived late, a bit beaten up by a day in the truck. We used them for our wedding. I went in, spoke with Rubin about our colors, the feel of the wedding and showed him my Pinterest board. WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER. It was exactly what I wanted and you can NOT beat their prices. They are fair and unlike many of the other florists in Santa Barbara and Montecito, they are not taking advantage of you just because you say the word "wedding". They love what they do and it shows. I had the best experience here this morning ! Ran in to put an arrangement together for a co worker and Ruben helped me with the best customer service ! Saw these unusual roses at a wedding reception and they left such a good impression.   Happened to be driving by Riley's this week  and I thought wonder if they have these unusual colored roses.   Rachel was helpful, told me they'd be in today and a minimum of two dozen would need to be ordered.   She called this morning - arranged them in a vase simply and beautifully and since there were two dozen a neighbor nearby received the other dozen s a birthday present.  Was wondering about the Yelp negative reviews, but am glad to recommend Riley's w/o reservation.  Was surprised how reasonable the prices were, and bought a good looking vase and pot that attracted the eyes.   Took pictures but don't know how to post them.   Some of the Yelp reviews were caused perhaps by orders phoned in or through a service. My mother who is from the bay area (NorCal) ordered flowers from a company that said they were a local florist in SB. Turns out were a clearing house of sorts - they gave the order to Riley's who in turn produced the flower arrangement per very specific instructions from the other company. When I received them I was appreciative of my mother's thoughtfulness but surprised by the choice of flowers ( I do not like carnations and I do not like purple). I called my mother and she was upset - and i called Riley's and spoke with Rachel - she was very professional, she agreed the arrangement is not the type they typically prefer to create and --she offered to send a new arrangement --that was more to my style and liking at No Cost. All I can say is 'WOW!"  I live with my sister and her boyfriend brought her this gorgeous, giant, beautiful, stunning bouquet for their third anniversary.  Being married myself I at first thought, what a total waste of money to give someone flowers...those will be dead/wilted within two days.  Boy was I wrong!  Not only was this one of the most beautiful bouquets I've ever seen, but I am not kidding when I say this bouquet lasted over TWO WEEKS!!!!  The Lily's were STILL blooming when we finally threw out the bouquet.  I am beyond impressed with Riley's Flowers.  The price point AND quality is the BEST I've experienced in Santa Barbara.  Riley's Flowers is my go-to florist from now on. Riley's Flowers did all my wedding flowers and I am beyond impressed! I basically told Rachel my colors and my price and let her run with it. I am so glad I did, she is so creative and really gave me a lot of bang for my buck! Rachel went above and beyond, she worked with her friends to get me a great deal on renting some containers for the center pieces. Rileys rocks!!  I came to Rachel with my sob story :  4 days to plan a whirlwind wedding and somewhat difficult colors to work with.  She NAILED it! Not only that, shecalled  me and confirmed pick up with only minutes before closing and waited for me to arrive before going home for the night. I worked as a part time florist for several years and cant ever recall  my bosses being so thoughtful.  The next week I threw Rachel some more work with a spring bouquet that scored big!  It might be small shop with small shop "problems" but at least there's an artist at work there and service is always top flight.  5 stars. Rachel at Riley's has been an absolute doll since I started ordering from her about 5 years ago.  She's helped me with wedding flowers which came out exactly as described and she offers a much better value than some of the other florists in town. I recently held an open house for my company and invited 20 wedding planners.  I asked Rachel to please create that many centerpieces in different themes that they could take home as party favors.  They were so gorgeous that several of the planners said that they felt bad accepting such a fabulous (and they thought very expensive!) arrangements.  3 sent me photos of their arrangements and thank you cards and several others tried her service for larger events and reported back to me that they were very pleased.All in all, the store is a great value and Rachel really cares.  She also really knows her flowers and seasons.  She has several options for more cost effective ways to evoke the look of peonies and is just incredibly helpful.  Pop in there and you will see! Rachel is awesome!  My husband and I recently got married in SB.  I used Riley's years ago and knew I wanted to use them again for my wedding flowers.  The flowers that Rachel put together for us were stunning.   The best part was that I didn't have to sweat the details.  I met with Rachel once. Rachel F. is the best!I called the shop on the day I needed flowers delivered, and I couldn't have asked for a better florist.  Not only was she able to handle my order and get them delivered promptly, but she really listened to what I wanted in the arrangement and managed to put together a beautiful assortment of complementary flowers.I was able to see the arrangement (delivered on a Saturday), and can honestly say the flowers - ALL OF THEM - are still healthy and alive (here on a Weds.)Wonderful, wonderful work :)As a guy, flowers are a baffling bunch.  I will DEFINITELY use Riley's for all future floral needs! Rachel at Riley's just did our wedding... she was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. We had spoken with several other designers/florists and even gone as far as having "samples" made up from another designer, only to feel disappointed and like we had unprofessional service. ...Rachel to the rescue! I don't know about you, but having grown up with a huge garden- you don't really trust a florist who doesn't have a little dirt on their hands. Rachel was thoughtful, had fun ideas and managed to get flowers that we weren't sure could be available for our wedding. With wedding planning (at least in my case), there are some points when you throw your hands in the air and say, "ok, I trust you with this" because you can't control everything (OK, you can, but why make yourself crazy?!). Rachel came through and then some. We received SO many compliments on our flowers- bridesmaid bouquets, my bouquet, the flowers at the reception- just gorgeous. We loved the succulent/kermit mum boutonnieres as well. Additional plus: I especially appreciated how honest she was; calling me to say that there would probably be money left over and could she do some additional touches for the reception? YES! SO happy. We received a gorgeous phaleanopsis orchid from Riley's as a thank you from houseguests. This place is amazing. The flowers are gorgeous, and they always deliver on time. They have dogs in the store, one of which I think is slightly racist, but the other one is cute. They have friendly service and that Jane lady really can twist a mean boque. Their rose's are cheap and always in pristine condition. I was impressed by the reviews Riley's recievedso i thought i would give it a try. I called Riley's flower shop the night before I wanted the flower's delivered. I told the florist my girlfriend loves stargazers and if they could add some roses for a reasonable price. She noted what I wanted, quoted me a price all within 2 minutes. The beautiful bouquet of stargazers and roses arrived the next afternoon which thrilled my girlfriend. It was noon on the day I needed to send a birthday girl flowers. My friend was in Santa Barbara, and I went on yelpland to find a florist. First one- Riley's. Called. It sounded like they were extremely busy, so they politely asked to call me back. I left a number and tried other ones- didn't pick up, were rude, or weirded me out. Within 5 minutes, Riley's called me back, apologized, and within a minute, had my order, the card's text, and the bill all taken care of. I wanted something lovely like lilies, then asked for their suggestion on what else to add- she suggested tuberose which were local and looked great, so I went with that. It was so easy- I just said the $ amount I wanted, and she built the arrangement and included tax, delivery, and vase in that. I even had the audacity to ask for it to be delivered by 3- she said she'd try (despite my hearing in the background how busy they were), and by 1:30, it was delivered.The next day, I went to the friend's place, and you should've seen the huge bouquet on the dining room table! In fact, you can- I took a picture. It's up there somewhere. It smelled divine, looked gorgeous, and made a stunning impression.
