I cannot recommend these guys enough.
I hired them to build safe and durable custom pieces of gym equipment for our preschool gym (ramps, ladders, ball pit, etc). The quality of their work was exceptional- what was intended as merely functional has become a focal point in our gym that our clients consistently compliment us on.
The process (especially the 3D drawings that come with the quote) was simple, accurate and fast. The quote they gave us was precise and the project stayed on budget.

Alviar Woodworking did the cabinets for my kitchen. Sam personally came out and made things extremely easy for me. There are a lot of options when it comes to kitchens and Sam helped me go through all my options and pick the best one. It made re-doing our kitchen easy.

They were also extremely flexible. When we demo'd my existing kitchen there were a few problems that arose as it was an older kitchen, and Sam found solutions to those problems immediately. He took all the stress out of my hands.

I was impressed by Daryl's consultation I experienced. I originally requested a quote ASAP for removing the existing ceiling in my basement and install new insulation and new ceilings and thought this would solve the noise issue between the basement and upstairs. This would cost a lot of money and hassle. Daryl, the owner of Ridge Water Homes, responded to my request timely and asked for a bit more info on the project and pictures. I provided them. He quickly responded back with his assessment of the primary cause of the problem and recommended a simple and cost effective solution. The solution would not give Daryl any business to do to make money on the project. I was impressed by his honesty and accuracy as his conclusion matched with the conclusion made by someone who came to the suite. Daryl and Carlos were professional and great to deal with for our kitchen renovation. Most importantly they were able to stick to a strict deadline we had, with a baby on the way. The only downside was that we went over-budget and had to make some cost-cutting decisions. Every step of the way we were able to talk through our questions and concerns.

We were looking for a trade that was able to create a railing for our newly renovated house for a year. We got estimates from several people and didn’t really like their design and suggestions. It was almost a year when we found Sam. He made several suggestions and recommendations to some of our concerns with our space and design. Although it was pricey, we really liked the suggestions and expertise Sam had shown us and signed with him.

Our glass-wood railing project was done in a very timely manner (2 weeks). The whole railing was hand-stained (the stain is amazing) and finished to match the colour of our flooring. Where we forgo with the glass railing, we placed vertical wood poles so to create more space but still added safety to the stair case.

Overall, we were really impressed (and so are our friends and family) with the craftsmanship and beauty of the glass-wood railing project. It truly fits the mid-century contemporary feel of the house. Thanks Sam!! More...
