Incredible people. I have never had a better vet. Dr. McDaniels in particular was more than my family could have ever asked for. ..The amount of care, love and thought these people put into the people and pets that walk through the their doors is amazing. Every staff member I worked with from front desk to veterinarian is top notch. The facility is clean and really nice. I would travel a good distance to continue to bring my pets here. We recently moved to Venus and stumbled upon The Royal Pet Resort. We took our lab mix and maltese mix into them for their evaluation for daycare. They have a drive thru drop off which was great! The staff is absolutely wonderful and accommodating. They have cameras in the play yards so we could watch them play all day. We just had to board our lab mix with them for the weekend and he came home a happy (and tired from playing) boy. My only suggestions are sending a report card via email on how they’re doing, or if they are struggling throughout their visit. It was Rhett’s first time away from us since we rescued him and a progress report would have been a relief for us during our trip. I just moved to Arlington from Washington DC and needed a vet visit ASAP for my greyhound Finn. They worked me in the day that I called and every person I came in contact with was friendly, compassionate, and extremely helpful. We found our way to Richter Animal Hospital after a few bad experiences in Arlington. After our first visit, we knew we would never go anywhere else and we haven't even when we moved away from Arlington. We will always make the drive to RAH to make sure our baby gets the best care. We adore Dr. Randolph. He is knowledgeable, we never feel rushed, he answers the million questions we have, he always calls with detailed results and has the perfect plan to put into action to help our baby. I have never met 1 employee that wasn't helpful or friendly. From the second they answer the phone or you walk through the door the whole staff is friendly, perky and helpful. We boarded our three boxers at Richter’s for one month in May due to a lightening strike that destroyed our home. Prior to this we always had pet sitters come to our home. We were so impressed with the staff and facilities and more importantly all three dogs were so happy and well adjusted the entire time. Knowing they were well taken care of during this stressful time certainly made us a new & loyal customer. Since that time we have used the boarding & daycare and we continue to have the very best experience. Additionally, one needed surgery to remove a mast cell cancer & this procedure went perfect too! And, for anxious pet moms like me, I love being able to see my pups on video 24/7, whether they are outside playing or just sleeping. Thanks Richter’s! More...

I've always loved this place. They care so much! Today they went above and beyond. I called to see if they had an appointment for my cat. They said they were full but asked what was going on. I explained that I was worried about a cyst that ruptured and was afraid it would get infected. After speaking to the doctor she called me back and was able to get me in. Not only that, but my cat needed a small surgery/procedure. They did that as well. That was another hour that they squeezed in just for us. We had to put our 13 year old lab down and chose Richter, because a family member recommended them. It was a most difficult decision, but they were awesome! They cared not only about our dog, but us! I have to give a shout out to Richter Animal Hospital. We have taken our dog Brady there ever since he was a puppy and the whole experience has been nothing but amazing. 5 stars does not do it justice. The staff and veterinary team treat your pet like their own, and also provide the best vet services around. We are always blown away by their customer experience. From the front desk staff, the daycare team, and the vets, everyone is always so friendly and caring for our puppy dog. We are sad to be moving away, and know that we will never find a place quite like Richter. They have a special place in our hearts! So incredibly happy I found this place! I've had some tough luck with Vets and spent so much money recently. My puppy needed a vet who knew what was wrong with him and the Vet's here knew exactly how to treat his epilepsy. I wasn't talked into further testing or spending money on something I didn't need to necessarily have done. He told me how to treat it and gave me recommendations on cheaper alternatives.The facility is clean. The staff is super nice and loving toward my huge dog! I am beyond satisfied with the staff and doctors at Richter Animal Hospital. a few weeks ago, we had to make the difficult decision to have our beloved cat, Autumn, put to sleep. The staff at Richter showed us so much kindness and compassion during this difficult time. Little things like meeting us at the door, having a comforting throw ready so we wouldn't have to lay her in a cold metal exam table, and playing soothing music for us made it easier to say goodbye. a couple of weeks afterward, we received a card signed by the entire staff with Autumn's paw print as a remembrance of her life. we will always choose Richter because they go the extra mile. The absolute best daycare and boarding around! We boarded our 11 month old doodle for the first time and there was none of the “acting funny after boarding” that you hear about. Our sweet Cinnamon is just as happy and well adjusted as she was before. She ate better at Richter than she does at home! They have 5 star accommodations and truly spoil your dog with all sorts of dog friendly treats and kindness. They have cameras so you can check on your dog too! I walked in off the street to see if I could make an appointment. I was taken through the entire facility. They took me out to their daycare and knew every dogs name and told me a little bit about each dog. I have since been there three times to get vaccinations for all three dogs.
