We employed Richard last year to provide and implement a design for our front and rear gardens. The gardens aren’t large - and aa well as making the most of the space available, one of our requirements was that they should be relatively low maintenance going forward. From the initial meeting Richard provided outstanding service. He listened carefully to what we needed and made really helpful suggestions as to what would work well with the location.The 3D designs he provided were very realistic and made our decisions easy; he was also very responsive in making changes etc.The works themselves were hassle free and very well executed. At one point Richard wasn’t happy with the quality of the paving and contacted me straight away to discuss alternatives (along with a very clear indication of any cost implications).We’re very happy with the outcome. Having decided to employ the services of a garden designer, a Google search highlighted a few in my area, including RW Gardens. A well laid out website encouraged me to arrange a visit from Richard, which turned out to be a pleasant no-pressure chat about garden design, plants, gardening and my preferences.The enthusiasm showed by Richard during this visit meant that I was more than happy to employ his creative services, and I'm really pleased that I did. Subsequent visits to my garden narrowed down the potential ideas until I was happy that everything I wanted was incorporated, and the 3D 'walk through' of the proposed garden was really useful in bringing the 2D plan to life. Although I've been a keen gardener for many years, he was able to offer design advice on a level beyond anything I could have come up with, and I now have a clear idea on how to transform my site into a garden that will incorporate all of my 'wish list', and more besides.It's not often that I'm completely happy to recommend someone to others, but I will happily recommend Richard to anyone seeking a garden designer. I work as a support worker for an elderly man with learning difficulties who in his prime was a surprising good gardener . .. but like te rest of us the years take there toll and unfortunately he was unable to keep on top of his lovely garden ... this saddened him � .. I wondered what I could do ... I advertised for a gardener. . Luckily Richard answered my call of help ... he has done an amazing job in his garden as a very fair price ... unlike a lot of people he has care and empathy for my little man and is happy to answer any questions with kindness and is totally patient with him as he follows him around the gardens ... in all honesty I don't know how we'd ever manage without him now ... thank you Richard you're amazing � More...
