What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret of a great photograph is being patient- sometimes I’ll chat before I’ve even got my camera out. I love to allow people to be themselves in order to capture the moment.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
For commercial clients I spend time going through the job and asking what they want to achieve. From there I put together a specific shot list.
For personal family shots I like to work out the characters or personalities and work around that- giving guidance along the way.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being allowed into people’s lives, particularly on their weddings day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked in the corporate world and then mundane jobs, I was looking for a job that was more creative and rewarding

Clients should choose me because they like my style and because I’m easy to get on with - I have life experience and a family.
