I had a wonderful experience with Rice catering from start to finish. He was super flexible in designing a menu, he was on time, and communicative. The food was delicious!!! We had brunch and mimosas for a bridal shower. It was elegant and satisfying. Not to mention Chef Wally’s personality is very relaxed and helpful. Guests started arriving and he had it all set up so that I could enjoy the party and I wasn’t in the kitchen the whole time. The bride is now considering having him cater her wedding. I will definitely hire him again. More...

What’s your signature dish?
I have many signature dishes. My Braised Cuban Pork, Mini Beef Wellingtons, all my Sauces.
My appetizer menu is a huge hit. From My Peppercorn Marinated Grilled Filet Mignon, Margarita Grilled Shrimp Mexican Ceviche to Hawaiian Pork Tenderloin Sliders.
I think my favorite creations are my Italian & Mexican Menu's.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Asking the client what their favorite foods of all time are; their likes & dislikes & what kind of wines they prefer,
creates a fantastic menu. I offer many customize choices to make sure all cravings are met.

Wally Rice, Executive Chef & Owner of Rice Catering has been tantalizing palates for over two decades.
Over this time, I must Say, that watching the faces of my guests tasting and eating my creations makes it a great day!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started working when I was sixteen. Being trained in the hospitality business all my adult life, from hotels to restaurants, catering companies & cooking school, I knew this was what I wanted. It was in my blood. I learned from the best and I thank each of my mentors from the bottom of my heart. My parents always told me to enjoy what you do, work hard at it and success will come within They are right. I instill that in my own kids.
