A great throwback to the style of a traditional German festival. Nothin' like saying "Ein bier biter" and getting it served in a large stein.

We love it. The beer is always cold and flowing generously. I love that they allow re-entry. Can't wait to go back this year.

A very nice event. I prefer Volksfest over the local Oktoberfest. But I have to say, I like the old location at the Nashville Farmers Market better than Woodland Park.

Had a great time. Great food and beer! The band was awesome. We were very happy that it was a dog friendly event! Awesome cars and great people. Hope they do it again next yet!

Awesome time! And we have been to many German fests in Southern IN. Bands were rockin', kids loved the bouncy (but only one gets crowded), 102. 9's scavenger hunt was fun. Would like to see some German sweets next year - kuchens, maybe? Terrific first year!!!! And happy it was offered on Sunday as well. More...

Volksfest stands out as one of the more authentic, genuinely FUN festivals that I've attended in a long time. Super happy, unpretentious crowd; great beer and food; really warm environment. Can't wait for next year! More...

Had a nice time at the Tennessee Volksfest in Nashville today. Missed the first year but was glad to make it this time. Small event, but good people, food and beer so hopefully this will grow into a Nashville tradition!

A traditional German Oktoberfest with a big tents, lots of picnic tables, with German food, beer, and band. Much better than the so called Oktoberfest in Germantown.

Had a great time on Saturday....our first Volksvest in Nashville. Small but growth potential is there... A few recommendations from my German husband; More food outlets beyond the traditional brats, schnitzel , gulash, ect...... Plus add a coffee/cake option ( Silkes backery in Clarksville) and a sweets vendor- candy, roasted nuts, ect.... also an additional pouring station.... Again, just suggestions.... Thank you for providing the event.... More...
