Teaching from a Tote offers private tutoring for a variety of ages and subjects. We deliver high standards of well planned lessons to many clients every week, ensuring that all our students progress as much as they can. By using a mix of written work and practical activities we teach knowledge and skills that are learned well and fully, allowing students to continue using these techniques on their own, once they finish needing our support.

What do you love most about your job?
Working with other people is a great experience and combining that with helping other people, especially children, is very rewarding. As I am training to be a teacher tutoring is perfect for me as I can use my experience to provide a quality service.
All services I provide have stemmed from training and hobbies I have. This means I truly love my job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I previously struggled to find a job that I was passionate about, until I thought "Why not find a job that allows you to show your passion?". The best way to do that was to start my own business. This allows me to work while doing what I love to do, and that helps me produce great work. It also provides a better experience for customers as I am keen to help.

At Teaching From A Tote, we provide a unique experience as we tailor everything to the student we are working with. Each lesson is carefully planned to ensure we develop at a pace that allows for optimum progress without leaving you or your child behind.
In cases where we are teaching children, we also work closely with their parents to ensure they are happy with the service we are providing. We are always open to feedback and we provide as much information we can and as regularly as we can so you know our plans. We can also provide reports if this is something you would be interested in and we can use a variety of behaviour and work systems or trackers to ensure you are embarking on your child's learning journey with us.
Babysitting
We are also available for babysitting as this is another branch of childcare. We can book daytime slots or evening slots depending on the type of care you need. This starts from £9 an hour but can change depending on the number and age of children.

Tarot readings start from £10/session. These readings offer guidance and clarity about your life and future.
