How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
This is a loaded question! I believe that a 'healthy lifestyle' is as or more important than a 'healthy diet' to health and wellbeing. I also believe a healthy diet looks different for everyone, based on our individual physiologies, genetics, preferences, and desires. I focus on my client's relationships with themselves and with food and encourage the addition of more to life instead of less. I love to challenge our preconceived notions of health and to look at the whole picture: What do you value? Are you able to do the things you want to do? Do you have joy in your life? Where in life are you restricting certain pleasures...or bingeing on certain pleasures...or both? My goal is to challenge the traditional dieting rules, in service of freedom, love, and acceptance.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting the extraordinary humans with whom I have the privilege to work and learning from them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting a nutrition private practice has been a dream of mine since I can remember. I am excited to now have both the credentials and the experience required to run a successful practice.
