We used Retire at Home, on our family doctor's strong recommendation, when my elderly father needed live-in home care on short notice after being released from hospital. She was knowledgeable, compassionate, reassuring and understood the difficult balance we needed of care without getting in the way of my father's independence. The care givers she sent were outstanding - skilled, warm and friendly, and knew when to help - before you even asked them - and when to give the family space. Fiona stayed in close contact with us to ensure we had the help we needed, and was infinitely patient when my parents kept changing the plan for their care. The care we received was on time, properly organized, highly professional and perfectly suited to our needs. It is rare to find a business you really feel you can trust and rely on, and even more rare - but critically important - when the service they provide is care for your loved ones.
