I called Rescue 1 today to get some estimates. I was able to speak directly with Mike, the owner. He gave me some great advice on a potential investment property. ....Even though the repair could have brought some significant funds to his company he gave his honest opinion and said he wouldn't recommend it. I also got an estimate on a driveway repair on my personal residence. We've been given a quote of $2,500 to have it jacked up. I was on a waiting list for 2 months to get that estimate from another company. After viewing the area via face time, Mike told me that it really doesn't need to be repaired right now. Said to wait and save my money until it gets to a certain point. He gave a few suggestions to help prolong the inevitable which we will be implementing. I really appreciated his honesty and willingness to talk directly to the customer. Many places these days require you to talk to someone that typically doesn't know what's going on. I found Mike to be incredibly knowledgeable, honest and easy to talk to. I will definitely be using him in the future. Thanks Mike! More...

I contacted Rescue 1 to get an estimate on some interior and exterior repairs. We talked about many projects. Mike showed a broad range of experience. The intial quote was more than I was ready to do, so Mike worked with me to reduce the amount of services and find which fixes were the most important and would fit in my budget. Mike and his office manager were very responsive and clear in their communication. On the day of the repairs, the repair man did excellent work and communicated well with us to insure our satisfaction. The repairs were done well using excellent materials and good-quality painting. We had a propane leak that caused us to get a red tag. Mike was very quick to get his plumber out to fix our issue. In less than 12 hours the propane leak was found, fixed, and we had heat and hot water again. Bill was friendly even with two kids asking him 1000 questions. Keep up the good work guys! I had a great experience with Mike and Rescue 1 construction!! I found them through Thumbtack and Mike's office manager was very prompt getting back to me and she was very sweet! Mike was able to be at my house with in a couple days. Once he saw my project he had a handful of ideas and was very knowledgeable on what would work. I received a drawing of the project quickly. The communication with mike was super easy and he was very quick to respond. I felt at ease knowing that the job would be done quickly and I knew he would show up.. I was never left wondering! We had a major remodel done by Rescue 1. We had the wall removed between the kitchen and living room. They replaced the ceiling, walls, flooring, cabinets, plumbing, and electrical. While they were doing the demo, they discovered we had a bad carpenter ant infestation. If they wouldn’t have been doing such a thorough job, I hate to think of how long it would have taken us to discover the damage. If you are looking for quality work, I would recommend them to anyone planning a major remodel project. They will not cut corners nor use sub-standard materials. They made my dream kitchen a reality.
