I’ve never been to one of their events but I got the left overs from one of the events they catered to. I brought home all the healthy stuff, fruits, baked salmon, and veggies. Didn’t have to meal prep for a few days! Yay! I don’t like to cook unless I have to. And I stay pretty busy so it can be hard to make time. The owners a really nice guy, I originally met him cause he gave me a fig tree when I accidentally killed mine a few years back. The fig tree now is huge and gives me shade in my backyard. Ok yes I did but again it’s huge! haha So many goodies I didn’t even know where to start. You will want to share them with friends, family or colleagues, (or not). Just from memories alone there were different types of cheese from soft creamy Brie to a buttery Cabernet cheese to stuffed olives to hard salami, thinly sliced smoked turkey, cherry tomato to delicious plump figs to gooseberries, and rambutan. Renaissance catering is by far my favorite local, Las Vegas's own, catering company. Whenever and whatever event they work the food has always been absolutely amazing and very sophisticated! The lunch and/or dinners are always delicious and beautifully prepared. This last even they had salmon marinated in this immaculate red wine sauce which was to die for! All of the sides were equally as yummy, from the fried rice to the smoked mixed veggies and their drinks paired beautifully including wines of all kinds, even ginger wine which i'd never had before, but am now addicted to. Best food I’ve had in a long time!!!!!! The team was very 🤵‍♂️tentative, fun and 🧐helpful. Also, everyone should do background searches prior to hiring any "professional " (used very very loosely) to perform for any event especially if there are children. Prudent precautions indeed which I should have done. Just passing on important information.First, we paid for 100 guest and only had 80 so what happened to the food not eaten? We called Reymundo pre wedding to give update on attendees and let Reymundo know we weren't looking for a reduced price because prior to wedding he was so accommodating. However, where is the uneaten food?Second, some items were missing from the clean up. No accusation, just wondering if you perhaps picked them up in errorThird, chef Reymundo apparently didn't totally relate all that happened. The two guest ask if they could help pour the wine for a toast. I was there so I know what happened. They were told by his staff that they would ask if they could help. It came back no they couldn't because of your liquor license. Fine. So they ask to have the liquor served table side. Before it was explained that they couldn't serve table side Reymundo came charging in yelling. He stuck his finger in my husbands face and created a huge scene. He then proceeded to threaten me. He continue in a very loud aggressive voice, in front of all our guest, to continue his terrible, uncalled for attack on me, my husband and all our guestsI've tried to call you to discuss to no avail. I went to my cousin's retirement party in November. Renaissance Catering provided the food and drinks. They set up buffet tables in the backyard. The tacos and enchiladas and nacho bar were so good. Renaissance Catering was a pleasure to work with, Chef Reymundo is amazing. I appreciate the flexibility he allowed with creating my menu that he and his team executed beautifully. My agency SafeNest hosted a training at the Spring Perseveres and Renaissance was on the list of vetted vendors so it took some of the guess work when it came to finding a caterer. The food that I requested was a celebration of Hispanic culture and I'm not talking about tacos....... They brought my vision of a food journey through many Hispanic countries such as Spain, Belize, Columbia, Honduras, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and Ecuador just to mention a few. The ingredients were fresh and the food really transported you to these countries. Reymundo and his staff were professional, polite, and very helpful. I will certainly use them again for future events. They provided a real piece of mind because I didn't have to worry about anything as it related to the food and beverage. From setup, presentation, or breakdown & cleanup was all covered and included in the price. Chef Reymundo and his crew did an amazing job in catering my husband's 70th birthday/retirement party held at the Penthouse Suite in The Venetian Resort, Las Vegas. From the minute that I inquired about their service up to the end of the party was excellent. Chef Reymundo was very accommodating and attentive. Our guests were very satisfied and could not say anything but great things. The food were delicious and prepared well as I have requested. The bartender was excellent and drinks were flowing all night. They went above and beyond and definitely surpassed my expectations.
