Totally delighted by the service from the lovely team. Really decent price and a fantastic level of service. From the first visit for the quote they were just a cut above the other firms we met with. We have moved numerous times by ourselves but this time, for the first time, we decided to hire a removal company and let someone else do the heavy lifting. We got a few quotes before deciding on Removals for You. Admittedly they weren't the cheapest quote we received but they were the most professional and I felt reassured with the contact I had with them. Communication with Theresa was brilliant. The day before we were meant to be completing we still had exchanged. Theresa reassured me that everything would be fine and there was no extra stress from their end if we had to cancel. As it turned out everything went through fine just like Teresa said it would. Removal day itself couldn't have gone smoother. All of the lads were great, professional and respectful of our furniture. They were quick with the packing and unloading however they didn't rush off once they had finished. It was so easy it was moving with Removals for You. From quote to day of move there was great communication from Theresa. The team that turned up on moving day were jolly and friendly, and got straight on with the job . They were efficient and effective and it made our lives so much easier!It was one guys first day - I never would have known! Nigel organised the team well and all the guys were brilliant. We really couldn't have been happier with the service. The business is a credit to Nigel and Theresa and I'm not sure we could have made the move without them. Our chain collapsed twice and we ended up needing to put our possessions in storage for an unknown amount of time, including a trailer and they just made everything so easy. The price was really reasonable and in 3 vans full, three addresses and 3 days of handling everything we own in the world, not one thing was lost or broken. Amazing service! The communication was excellent, I was always able to speak to a person over the phone and they were happy to go over and even change the details of the service with me. I found the price to be very reasonable for the service. The service itself was exvellent; the crew showed up on time and fully equipped with rugs, covers, and straps to ensure my possessions were handled carefully and safely. Over the last two days Nigel and his team have helped my mum and dad move away from their family home to a new bungalow. They were very careful with over 40 years of possessions that they had saved over the years. Our entire experience with Removals For You was positive. The team were friendly, professional and very experienced - they really understand their business and want to ensure that their clients get the best service. From booking with Theresa, discussing estimated costs with Nigel through to the actual removal day we felt looked after. We moved, from one large house to another, after 17 years of accumulating furniture and possessions. Without the support of this excellent team I am sure that we would not have slept so soundly in our own beds on the first night. Overall, we would highly recommend Removals for You to anyone in North Yorkshire who is looking for a reasonably priced, competent removal service. We had a very good experience when they helped us move the contents of a 1-bed flat from York to Cambridge. They provided a very reasonably priced quote. When we needed to coordinate our travel to Cambridge on the same day as the move, they helpfully offered to move us on a Sunday, instead of the previously agreed Monday, so it would be easier for my husband to be at home in Cambridge to meet the movers. On the day of the move, they were very quick and competent. The guys who moved us were very pleasant and we had a great time chatting with them while they were moving our things. When they arrived in Cambridge, we actually weren't ready to meet them, which delayed their timeline by about an hour. Despite the inconvenience to them, they were very pleasant about it. We booked with Removals for You in March with an April move date but did not move until June! We had so many changes and delays and Theresa was always a patient and flexible voice on the end of the phone. I cannot recommend Removals for You enough. The whole process was made easier with their professionalism and sense of humor - essential when dealing with solicitors. The lead up was efficiently planned with pre-packing. The actual move day was a piece of cake for us (we weren't doing the lifting!) and because of the great Team Theresa and Nigel have we actually had a chance to enjoy Moving Day. We panicked at the last minute as we were let down by another company 4 days before our move date. I rang Theresa and she came back to me within an hour and said that Nigel would be out that afternoon to look at the size of the job. They then let me know the next day that we were ok to go!!The team of lads were extremely polite, patient and helpful given the only half finished state of the house and removed all our stuff over two days. The do not charge for key-waiting which was a blessing as we were delayed getting into the new house on day 2. Again everything was handled with the utmost care and no job was too big (or too small) for the lads.I would highly recommend using Removals for You as they made the whole process so much easier - the price was competitive too!
