I have sent my daughter to Reliance Academy for 2 years now and am extremely impressed with how the academy is lead. The academy is an organisation that doesn't only focus on a child's education. They take a holistic approach. They have highly qualified teachers that nurture and support their pupils and provide counselling for families that may have met an obstacle along the way that hinders their child progressing in school. Teachers are willing to meet with the pupils form teachers and headteachers to discuss signs of learning difficulties and work very hard with the parents and teachers to address these issues. No other academy provides such a service and this needs to be recognised and acknowledged. I have seen children that have struggled to settle in school have a complete turnaround with the support received from Reliance Academy. I would never send my child anywhere else. My daughter has always worked above the national average and is listed on the NAGC for talented children. Reliance Academy are constantly encouraging her to do more and develop further and they have done an exceptional job. They have 1 branch near West Croydon and another in Shirley and my daughter and I go to both. My daughter has even said she prefers the Shirley location and really enjoys the maths lessons! My daughter has been going to Reliance academy for a few months now and has learnt a lot that helps her to to cope with school, they also pays more attention to the children's learning than most schools and helps them to build the confidence and knowledge to learn.

Reliance Academy has proven to be a wonderful learning space for my daughter, as ALL the teachers are highly qualified in their area of expertise. Two are qualified head teachers and other staff members are teachers, NOT tutors. This is extremely important when wishing your child to take the 11+ exam and/or progress to a higher standard. The children love the personal interaction they have with their teachers and genuinely enjoy being there. Working in small groups has fostered a strong bond between everybody at Reliance Academy.
