Great Customer Service, Professional, Friendly, Courteous. During the COVID-19 pandemic it soon became impossible to fly my 90 year old Mum back home from Florida to Canada as the Canadian airlines had shutdown all their flights. The only solution was to fly her to MSP airport and find a way to get her to the Canadian border, as the border was closed for me to enter the US to come get her. I had called various ride services in Minneapolis to discuss my situation and did not find any company able to grasp the urgency of our ordeal, but that was until I called ReliaCar. ReliaCar understood the situation and went that extra 'mile' to help coordinate the complexities of arriving at a closed US/Canadian border. The ReliaCar Driver met my Mum at the baggage claim and provided professional, friendly, courteous customer service which helped ease my Mum's travel anxiety. After a safe, five hour highway journey, I rendezvoused with the ReliaCar vehicle at the border. I then took over the next hour of driving her home. Business travel made easier. I travel for business and I am struggled with taxi and car services being unreliable. I ran though the airport just to miss a flight by 15 minutes because of them. A co-worker that travels frequently as well gave me Noah's card for ReliaCar. I called and was booked in 5 minutes for my ride the next morning. It was scheduled at 7:15 AM and I received a text from the driver telling me he had arrived at a few minutes after 7:00 AM and was waiting "at my convenience". I walked out of my home to find a black Lincoln Town Car with a professional driver in a full suit with the trunk open. I believe his name was Jason. He greeted me with a smile and a "Good morning Mr. Johnson, can I take your bags for you?" Once underway I noticed I forgot the coffee I had sitting in my home and asked if we could stop at Caribou on the way (Going to Boston where there is only Starbucks) and he said no problem. From here I had several calls to make and even a few WebEx meetings on the way to the airport. In the past I've had problems with drivers on their cell phones and noisy music, not this guy! When I finally got everything done we were pulling in to the airport EARLY! I immediately booked them for the next 3 trips I have planned. They emailed me the receipt which made it easy to export to my company's expense system and, even with tip, it cost about the same as a taxi would! If you travel for business you know any good connection you can make pays dividends, here's one that you should keep in your cell phone. More...
