Reliable Marine Electronics

Recently traveled to San Francisco from Los Angeles on our sailboat. Sustained significant damage to the cable connecting to the radar dome. Received a referral to Reliable Marine from the Dock Master at the marina where we are temporarily staying. From my first call they were responsive, clearly knowledgeable, and obliging to our situation and time constraints. They ordered the necessary parts, sent me an itemized invoice with estimated costs, and set up an appointment (according to my convenience) for their service people to come to the boat. Two technicians arrived promptly at the scheduled time, evaluated and surveyed the entire electronics system to ensure there was no other unnoticed damage, and proceeded with the repairs. This included having one of them go up the mast. They were fully equipped, conducted themselves in a highly professional and courteous manner, and had the job completed with demonstrated expertise. When I had questions along the way (and there were many) they were answered fully and without any indication that I was intruding on their work. They were very careful and mindful of cleanliness throughout the process. When they completed the work they took time to review the system and to reset and recalibrate the system to my liking.This was an experience that took a situation full of angst and anxiety to one that quite frankly became one of relief, reassurance and renewed confidence in the boat's electronics. They left the job, stating on multiple occasions, their availability by phone if I had any questions or concerns. Should I be in need of future repairs, upgrades or replacements I will strongly consider calling upon Reliable Marine to travel to Los Angeles. More...

I received excellent service during a recent check/service.I had a simple problem with my radar that the owner took care of very quickly. He thoroughly tested my radar after the repair.Since my repair took less than the minimum billable time, I was happy that he filled up the time taking care of some other minor problems that had been bugging me.I will return whenever I have problems in the future.
