Hi, I am Jonathan Butler.
I run Relayer Drones and offer aerial video and photography at affordable prices. I can do this because the drones are one man operated with no need for a pilot and separate cameraman.
In addition to 4k video and photography, Relayer Drones offers 3d maps and surveys using the latest photogrammetry software. I have used both Pix4d and Drone Deploy. Photogrammetry can produce surveys and 3d models accurate to 1 cm, which can be fed into BIM workflows. This can also be used to calculate volumes. There is a certain amount of planning to do so our charges have to include this time. We can travel to site and be set up within half an hour and can film for a morning or full day.
We charge £300 for half a day and £500 for a full day. New clients are given a 20% discount. We are happy to work anywhere in the country but to concentrate on London and the South East as we are based in Islington in north London.
We follow the drone code (see drone safe.uk) for details. Video and photos are best filmed just after daybreak or just before sunset, the times of day that give a warm yellow light to the work. However this needs to be planned around the needs of a particular site and its locality.

Footage can be handed straight to the client or can be processed in house. Take a look at the gallery www.relayerdrones.co.uk where you will see examples of video editing using Final Cut Pro. Titles and music can be added and clients are encouraged to find freely downloadable music as this provides a rhythmic framework which makes editing much quicker and easier. 6 second videos with titles £50, 10 to 15 second videos £100, 30 seconds £150, 1 minute £200.
Terms are 50% upfront, with £100 pre site rejection fee. Balance is payable on receipt of goods.
