We had such a fantastic experience with Registry Bistro/Catering, and are so glad we chose to have our wedding ceremony and reception in the Secor Ballroom. Vickie and Chef Erika were wonderful to work with, the food was amazing (one of our favorite meetings of the entire planning process was discussing the menu with Chef Erika-- so fun and exciting to come up with your own customized wedding menu with such a talented chef), and the venue was perfect! I love the atmosphere, very chic bistro decor, loud as you would expect a bistro to be. The menu changes seasonally, but a few staples always remain. The menu here is very creative and eclectic. Try something you've never had before (like the goat shank). You won't be disappointed. Service is very courteous, attentive, but not hovering. The wine list and cocktail list are very extensive. We had Valentine's/Anniversary dinner there last night and everything was amazing! They were very busy but that didn't stop them from delivering an awesome experience. Our waiter, Brian I believe, was very knowledgeable about the menus and was able to recommend salads to go with our chosen entrées and even which cocktails would complement our meal. The food was absolutely fantastic and was quick to reach us! You can tell alot of thought was put into the flavor profile of each dish. We ordered the dessert for two sampler and it was to die for. My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at the Registry Bistro last night with a spectacular meal and wonderful hospitality given by all at the Bistro; from the gentleman outside, to our friendly, helpful server, to Vickie, co-owner, to all helpful staff, and most of all, to Erika Rapp, a truly gifted artist of a chef. Her presentations and uniquely wonderful flavor combinations made for an absolutely unforgettable dinner and anniversary. We went last night to Registry and had James as our server. He was extremely passionate about food and knowledgeable. The soup and salads were outstanding. New Year's Eve dinner was great ! Had a mussel appetizer with an amazing chorizo sauce ( seriously my husband scooped every last bit ) then we shared a soup , which they so graciously spit into two small bowls for us. My goat shank was fantastic and the risotto was the best I've EVER had . But the final finisher, the dessert sampler honestly made me wish I would of ordered just 6 desserts for dinner. I want to first say that I am a restaurant snob. We make it a priority to try the best restaurants whenever and wherever we travel. .. Locally and internationally. We seek out the top rated restaurants and 3 Michelin star restaurants. I am very picky when it comes to food and service. Registry Bistro is by far the best restaurant in Toledo serving original and creative contemporary dishes with the freshest, top quality ingredients. Every visit to Registry is a tasting experience like no other. The service is efficient, with knowledgeable and personable servers. The service is outstanding from pre-bussing to changing of silverware. The servers are very observant and attentive and anticipate our every need. I look forward to the menu every time I go. It's as good as any big city 5 star restaurant... And maybe better. I highly recommend it and will continue to trust them with hosting all my special private events. More...

I’ve lived in Toledo since 1992, and I’ve come to Toledo has a city with many restaurants but few that actually standout. However, last night we ate ate the Bistro for the first time and it was amazing . I ordered the Rabbit Pot Pie and it was the best meal that I’ve ever tasted in Toledo. This was a great place with delicious food! I love the changing menu with the seasons, and the speciality drinks were phenomenal!

My only drawback would be a little bit more music would have been nice. Otherwise, great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, heck even a nice night out on the town!

My wife and I live in rural North Central Ohio. We aren't accustomed to the city or elegant dining, but we came to town for our 10 year anniversary! Our server was incredible. He was kind and helpful, and he rewarded us for our visit with dessert. We rewarded him in turn. Thank you so much for making the supper portion of our evening absolutely memorable. The food was absolutely, indescribably exquisite. We got the opportunity to eat foods we had only seen on TV and we didn't have to spend $100 a plate to do it. First off, great atmosphere. They have used an old hotel in the hear of downtown and have managed to make a very modern restaurant and yet have nostalgic feel. Now the food is amazing.... nothing more needs to be said about it. The staff is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the dishes they serve. And finally, the price. In my opinion it was well worth $66 for two (without drinks). It's not too expensive for the quality of the food that you're receiving. All in all 10/10 for the area and style of dining. More...

This is the best restaurant in Downtown Toledo. The menu is constantly evolving and has some adventurous food on it but you'll find something on there that will intrigue and impress you.
