DO NOT USE!!!


I used Regency Law to issue a Section 8 notice to my tenants. During the initial call I explained to Adam the situation with my property manager and tenants and explained that I was still waiting for a copy of the tenancy agreement for the full names of my tenants. They asked if I had any other copies and I provided them with the agreement from my PREVIOUS tenants and explained to Adam & Jhenny that it was for the previous tenants.
They sent me a draft copy of the Section 8 which contained the wrong information. I called and emailed to explain to Jhenny that this was incorrect and it needed to be amended before being sent. I also requested that no copies where sent to my property manager. Jhenny confirmed with me that the names would be changed and also confirmed that no copies would be sent to the property manager.

The following day I received a call from my property manager informing me that he had a copy of the section 8 notice and the names on the paperwork were incorrect. I emailed Jhenny to get to the bottom of this and was assured by her that the correct names were sent and it had not been sent to the property manager. I asked her to call me on the Monday as the incorrect documents were sent out containing the wrong information and I had confirmation of this from my property manager.

There was no further communication from anyone and I called the following Wednesday to ascertain what had happened. I spoke to Adam who was not helpful in the slightest and expressed my concern over the competency to complete the simplest of tasks. He said he would call me back with an explanation as to what happened, I never heard from him. He sent me an email offering me money off should I need to proceed to the eviction process. However due to the incompetency of the company i no longer have faith in the services they offer.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY COMPUSLIVE LIARS, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LIE.6 WEEKS AFTER NOTICE EXPIRING THEY DIDNT FILE A CLAIM TO THE COURTS FOR POSSESION. INSTEAD LIED THAT THE COURTS HAVE BACK LOG.I SPOKE TO THE COURT DIRECTLY AND THEY ADVISED THEY DO NOT HAVE BACK AND NEVER RECIEVED ANYTHING. THEY CONTINUTED TO LIE TO ME SO HAD TO INSTRUCT AND OFFICIAL SOLICTOR. WASTED MY TIME, LIE AFTER LIE. THEY DO NOT EXPLAIN ANYTHING, JUST TAKE UR MONEY AND GO AWOL UNLESS U CHASE THEM. I sincerely like to applaud Regency Law for all the help they provided in evicting our tenant who was in rent arrearsThe whole rent arrears and tenant eviction is stressful which usually takes around three months before you realise you need to go to court to evict your tenant and for first time owners like us this was way too much to digest but when we approached Regency Law they gave us all the information and were very approachable. They are extremely professional and very prompt in replying to any queries. I cant single out one person in the team who helped as we kept getting the same service/help from the whole team of people who work at Regency Law. I’ve never had problems with tenants not paying before so it was all new to me. I found Regency Law in a google search and contacted them for advice. They were quick to respond, very professional and efficient. I was guided through the process and felt confident about the advice I was given as it was clearly and logically explained to me. Once I had discussed it, I decided upon the type of eviction notice for this particular situation and once the details were provided to Regency Law, they drafted the notice, sent it to me for review and it was issued next day. It was an excellent service and very good value. Unbeatable. The tenant contacted me to confirm the date she would vacate and she did. I am so pleased. I hope I do not need to evict any other tenants but if I find myself in this situation again I will definitely contact Regency Law to manage it for me. More...
