The service here is very straightforward and professional! I sent a couple messages with questions and received answers back almost immediately. I was able to arrange a cake delivery through Yelp messages exclusively, except for the date of delivery which Mark asked for my number to text me to let me know when the cake would arrive. He even let me check in and receive a free treat! I asked Mark if he could fit in a message and some symbols and he let me know realistically how it would all fit on the cake so I trimmed some words. I originally wanted "Happy Birthday, Marvel!" with a captain America shield, red star, and avengers A on a 6 inch and Mark let me know it wouldn't fit so I just put the word "Marvel!" on with the symbols. I was happy enough and the cake came out very cute. The delivery was very fast and polite. It was $21 for a 6 inch, medium sized cake which is the typical price for bakeries that cater to dogs, if not a little on the more affordable side. The cake lasted just fine a day in the fridge and even an hour in the sun at our outdoor party. When I was preparing for my puppy's birthday party, I started doing some research for dog cakes and treats. I found Redondo Dog on Yelp and asked them about sized and pricing. The best and super convenient! When I inquired about their services, Mark responded back to my request and helped me arrange a cake delivery for my little one who turned 7 years old. I bought a doggy cake from a place in Long Beach last year but had to go to the shop, place the order, and pick it up myself on the day I needed it. I had called on the phone to see where they were located and they said we deliver ! That was a triple bonus because I had work and by the time I got off it was ganna be late and I had stuff to do . . so I was over the moon .. Absolutely using Kool Dog again and recommending them to everyone!Mark was gracious and patient with me as I was taken aback and confused when I got to the old location in Redondo Beach and saw that they were no longer there. Panicked and at my wits end I called the number on the door and Mark was so nice and accommodating. (Im sure he just wanted me to STFU lol) My OEB was turning 2 yesterday and like always, I do things at the last minute.  My mother-in-law has used them in the past and I liked the pix & reviews here on yelp! I did notice there wasn't a physical address listed, but my mother in law just told me they're next to Bucca so not a problem, I'll just swing by and pick something up on my way home from running errands. Mark, told me he could deliver (for FREE) same day to my home. Literally by dinner time - 7pm. It was like 3pm as we were speaking!  It almost made me faint.  You can make my cake and deliver to me by dinner?! AWESOME!No muss no fuss, Mark took my order and address and said he will see me by 7pm.He was right on time with our little cake. He sent me a text saying my cake was on the way. Voila! This is probably my favorite dog bakery shop! I've been looking for a Bakery for months and I finally came across this shop. I give this place 5 stars they are amazing. Great customer service. I'm not a crazy dog mom but when your dog turns 3, how can you not spoil her? To my understanding, they can do same day deliveries, but I ordered a few days ahead of time. The cake was adorable and I had to do everything in my power to not have it be devoured in seconds. Came here to pick up a small dog cake for my dog's birthday, $14 for the cake, $5 for the hat.. the price for a little hat was kind of steep, but eh, how often do you need to buy one? My baby girl is turning 1, and for this amazing day we wanted to give her a birthday cake. First, looked into making it online, but decided we wanted everything perfect. So we checked this place out and ended up ordering a birthday cake for our baby girl. The reason to why we were so happy that she turned one was, when we first brought her back from the pound, she had parvo. The pound and vet was telling us to get rid of it and to change her out for another puppy. I couldn't believe how heartless these people were. So we tended to her night and day and fed her, kept her hydrated, and continued to assure her that she was going to be alright. She made it, and now my baby girl turned one! They were so helpful and made sure I knew everything inside of the cake and assured me that every ingredient was doggy safe. I was tempted to try a piece myself lol. The service was excellent. Went into Kool Dog today to pick up a birthday cake for my youngest, Destini. Tommy, helped me out. He was very friendly, very helpful and you could tell he genuinely loved dogs, pets in general. When he referenced pets as "not just pets" they are FAMILY. That is exactly what I look for someone who shares my love, passion and devotion to our 4 - legged family members. Kool Dog is just down the street from our house, but we would come here even if it was a bit of a drive. The folks who own the place are really nice, and the guy behind the counter is nice and laid back. The groomer is really great with our three dogs, they always prance out of the salon, showing off their fancy haircuts. Our girls especially are a little high maintenance and easily upset, so when we find a groomer that sends everyone home clean and happy, we know we've found a gem. We've set up a standing appointment, and it's great not having to think about scheduling, so if you have a breed that needs regular maintenance, keep that in mind. It makes life so much easier. The price varies a little bit each time, just depending on what they need done (de-matting, etc), but it's usually about $30-35 for a wash, and $45-50 for a full groom. Really reasonable, especially for the quality of the work. Just a heads-up, when you're paying for grooming, they only take cash or check. For everything else, they happily take plastic. There's a bank in the same shopping center, if you need an ATM. As for their retail section, they've been renovating, and are still in the process of getting everything spiffed up. They've made room for a small, but  regularly-rotating selection of adorable dog clothes ($15-25 for a shirt) and accessories. Needless to say, our fuzzy children are collecting quite the stylish wardrobe. They still have their dog bakery, which is what they were originally known for, and they're still making cute and tasty treats. My dogs adore the 'churros' especially, but so far they haven't tried anything they haven't loved. The 'cupcakes' are a little messy, so you might want to save those for a pre-grooming treat.
