It was a pleasure planning my event with the host, Nadia. She made the entire event completely painless: her communication was timely, her prices were transparent, and she was incredibly helpful throughout the duration of the event as well. The food was plentiful and great for the priced (Italian menu) and the drinks were extremely affordable. I definitely recommend Red Spoon restaurant to anyone who wants a flexible venue that only charges you for what you need. I held a 10th wedding anniversary at the Red Spoon Restaurant, complete with dinner and dancing, so it turned out to be similar to a small wedding reception with about 40 guests. Everyone was extremely impressed with the facility itself and were constantly complimenting me on selecting the venue. I also received numerous compliments on the food provided. We had ordered from the Italian menu and ordered chicken parmigiana which was cooked beautifully and was so tender. The fruit platter with dessert was a beautiful arrangement, with some fruit carvings that warranted pictures from impressed guests. I, personally was blown away by the effort the staff put into making sure my event was a success. I particularly worked mostly with Nadia. She was reasonable in her expectations, but also allowed plenty of flexibility on how I could decorate the place, and with any food and wine I brought in from outside. Great cozy place. We went here for a friends birthday party and we had a great time. Location was pretty clean and the service was awesome. I would like to say that this place is amazing to say the least. We celebrated our grandmother's 80th birthday here with our own theme and it was everything we could hope for. First of all, the policies are very upfront and reasonable, and very easy to understand. We rented the tables, chairs and the decorations for them such as tablecloth and the chair covers with the design of our choice. We also ordered food for 30 people, which was the number of our guests, and also brought in our own food to add. Let me say that the star of the catered food we ordered were the roast beef with gravy, pork chops as well as the mashed potatoes. People could not get enough of them, that's for sure. We also ordered unlimited beverages from the fridge at $3 per head and it was a very smart option to have. Furthermore, we also opted to buy tickets for the bar to give to our guests. A bottle of beer, a glass of wine and local spirits would be one ticket, which is very easy to manage when serving alcoholic beverages to your guests. In addition, we were given an hour complimentary to set up our area and our food also came out exactly on time. When the guests were running a little late, Nadia offered to put the food back in the oven to keep warm. Regarding Nadia, we were very pleased with the way she handled everything and helped us out every step of the way. From the e-mail conversations in the beginning to setting up what we needed, and even on the day of the event itself she was there to assist us. Finally, I would definitely host parties here again in the near future. *A tip for potential customers: e-mail Nadia as she responds there quickly, better than trying to call her on the phone. I absolutely loved the red spoon! I had my sweet 16 there and everything went so smoothly. We had over 60 people but Nadia was still able to accommodate all of our needs. The planning process was a breeze as she is so easy to work with, the venue looked beautiful, the food was AMAZING (everyone LOVED the chicken parmesan) and it was all VERY affordable. I held my children's baptism party on March 19 everything was perfect from the setup of the tables and chairs the backdrop and the food was beyond our expectations! Amazing food! All my guests still rave about the beef tenderloin! Even the fruit platters were set up so beautiful! I ordered everything i needed to make it look the way i wanted to, all i had to bring was a cake! How easy is that? Im so happy I choose Red Spoon. Nadia was so easy to work with, thank you for answering all of my questions I know I kept sending emails and you were so quick to respond. I held a party here in April 2017 for my son's First Communion and everything was far above what I expected. The food was amazing and all of my guests commented how delicious it was. Food was served right on time and portions were excellent. It was truly a pleasure working with Nadia. She answered all of my emails/questions and was a huge help the day of the party. Great little spot for a quick bite and fantastic venue with Catering services on site. Very Spacious and the Owner Nadia is awesome to work with. Venue is cheaper then most community centres with more room and amenities. Catering is extremely reasonably priced with several options. I wouldn't hesitate to host another event here.
