What do you love most about your job?
It is great to meet so many people as we go around the country, helping to make the memorable events in their lives special. Music reaches out and appeals to so many people and it's great to entertain and inspire everyone from toddlers to centenarians.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a freelance musician you get to play with so many wonderful players, but there is something special about forming the special musical relationships that come with performing regularly as a band and getting to know the people with whom you work musically. Because our music is mostly improvised the way the musicians interact can make the performance magical and memorable; and that is where Red Hot and Blue comes in....
Why should our clients choose you?
We have all played with so many different bands and musicians, and had so much fun making music that it has been difficult to think how to improve things. That is where Red Hot and Blue come in. For us, it is a chance to have a regular band that can get together to do some different things a little bit differently, while still keeping the feel of the music we love to play. For you, our audiences it gives a polished, well presented and enthusiastic band that can enliven any event with music to inspire you.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Unfortunately live music has been almost entirely on hold through lockdowns, but the events were have managed in the last year have been socially distanced and managed to run in full compliance with the government guidelines and with approval from the relevant local authorities.
