Our whole process started with Eric when he came recommended by a photographer friend of ours. The moment we saw his website we were sold. We met with him and had no doubt that he was the photographer for us. We booked him for our wedding first and then added our engagement session later. We started planning the engagement session and he was so full of ideas, and they were things we never would've thought of. We wanted to do something fun and out of the ordinary, so we see decided to go to Western Fair at peak neon light time. He was so accomodating in the fact that we couldn't make it work during the week, so he made a Sunday evening work for him and we so appreciated that. We had so much fun playing games, eating fair treats and going on rides, all while feeling so natural. Eric didn't make us pose very much, which allowed for us to really be in our own vibe. We just got the photos back after just over 3 weeks (super quick turnaround), and WOW. We were not disappointed and the photos are more beautiful that we could've ever imagined. Eric's style of photography is exceptionally unique. We are so thrilled with our engagement photos!! they turned out awesome. We did 3 different scene shoots with 3 different outfits within the same area. My fiance and I had so much fun!! it was literally the most fun day. My fiance kept telling me that it was so much fun, something unusual for a man to say, I think! lol. The next day we were still on cloud 9. Having never done a shoot before we were nervous at the beginning but Eric made it easier by telling us we looked great and guiding us through the whole process. I have to add that he also did our shoot with a broken foot which we did not know about until we met up with him! so amazing. We also had to re-schedule a few times due to unforeseen circumstances and he was super flexible with making new dates work which we so appreciated. Eric from Red Button Photography came highly recommended to us for our wedding photography by our wedding planner Twelfth Night Events. At first when I saw Eric's work I wasn't sure. He's photos were so amazing. Stunning editorial style and I just couldn't imagine that we could pull off photos like that. Eric was able to show me some other examples of his wedding photography that showed a range of styles that captured his subjects and we decided to work with him for our wedding. Our wedding day was the first time we met Eric because we live overseas in Australia and arrived shortly before the wedding. Immediately I felt at ease. Eric was professional, enthusiastic about his work and had a great sense of humour - which maybe doesn't sound important, but his personality made a huge difference compared to other photographers I have worked with in the past. Neither my partner or I are that into getting our photo taken and can both be quite shy and awkward about it, but Eric made us totally forget about all those insecurities and have fun. He was efficient, gave great direction and was willing to let us be creative too. We literally had so much fun taking photos after the ceremony that I wasn't even concerned at all what the final photos looked like, because the memory of the experience was so perfect. During the ceremony and reception I didn't even notice Eric, but our photos tell me he was moving quickly to get all the perfect shots. Mind you he did all this with a broken foot in a moon boot! In Australia we'd call him a "bloody legend". The photos were sent to me via email on a site where I could download high resolution versions as well as share directly to social media. We also received our photos on USB. The photos were stunning. Eric captured our personalities and the vibe of our wedding so well. He even managed to get many of those fabulous editorial style shots of us that I never thought we could pull off! It was definitely Eric's eye for detail, colour, light and direction that made these photos so great. I highly recommend Eric and Red Button Photography. Eric is simply the best! I honestly wish we could give him 8 stars. From start to finish, it was a joy to work with him. Eric's true talent is unbelievable and obvious simply by looking at his work. He is a true artist that manages to turn the simplest moments into amazing images and left us speechless. 1 word to describe Eric and his craft, AMAZING!!! Choosing the right photographer was a big thing for us, just like most people but we can wholeheartedly say Eric was by far the best choice we could have made.
