What inspired you to start your own business?
My grandmother lost her house to the IRS. The IRS confiscated her house just a few months after her husband, my grandfather, passed away. The IRS said they had owed back taxes, and there was no way for them to pay off the IRS. So the IRS took the house to pay off the back taxes.
Years later, I realized that this was a completely unnecessary outcome. The IRS has programs in place to help people in exactly this situation. But my grandmother didn't have someone who could advise her and stand up for her against an aggressive IRS agent.
I treat my clients as if they are my grandparents. Everyone deserves an opportunity to solve their tax problems, quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable price. I didn't have the skills at the time to help my grandmother. But I have the skills now. And I refuse to let the IRS walk all over a fellow citizen just because their are in debt.
