Prior to my treatment with Manuel, I was suffering from debilitating migraines on a weekly basis and after visiting my GP multiple times over the last few years with no improvement, I was coming to terms with the fact that I would have to live with these migraines for the rest of my life. All in all a very good experience. From the first contact, Emma was very welcoming in the reception area, making me feel at ease whilst taking me through the introduction. My treatment spanned three months during which time Manuel assessed, treated and advised. He kept me informed about the condition of my back as the treatments progressed. Excellent. Friendly staff, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. I booked up a sports massage from Groupon and was pleasantly surprised with the detail of the consultation and how beneficial the treatment was. Just come out of my first session and highly pleased with this sevice. Friendly staff on reception were helpful and understanding (as I was running a little late) and offered water, which was welcomed on this warm day! I was seen by Nick who ensured first to go through my history and reasons for wanting to attend. He talked me through the process and the time flew by - by the time it was finished I could have easily gone on for another hour! Conversation was good throughout with a nice mix of chat and also just enjoying the treatment and the ambient background music. Very friendly and attentive staff, prompt service on welcome. I had an appointment with Joe who was very easy to talk to about my back and neck issues. He identified the problems almost immediately and explained very clearly why and how I’m being effected over my daily routine, and what I can do to improve my situation. The massage I had honed in on my main areas of ache and pain before I had even explained where they were, and Joe worked firmly to help relax those muscles. I recently come in for an hour massage with Jodie. I came in complaining with lower back pain. Jodie took a full history and postural assessment and pointed out that it can be due to my lower back muscles and hips being very tight. She has worked on these areas with a firm pressure, not spa like. I booked in my first session due to tension in my neck and lower back. Luke assessed my posture during my initial consultation and explained what it could be down to (bad posture, sitting at a desk too long etc. ) & provided advice on ways to avoid such issues going forward. I'm half way through a series of six deep tissue massage sessions with Luke, to help my shoulders and lower back - a long standing problem mainly due to sitting at a computer for so long. I can feel the benefits, I have less tightness and discomfort day to day and Luke has been great at giving me tips to help keep my shoulders feeling better in between sessions. I would love to recommend anyone who suffers with neck, shoulder and back related pain to Reco Chiropractic Centre near St. Michael Hospital in Bristol. I have just completed 8 sessions out of 24 booked appointments of my spine adjustment and the results are amazing! My complaint was severe neck and shoulders pain with upper back was stiff and rock solid plus headaches. In March 2017 I major spine surgery involving fusion of my c6-c7 due to herniated discs after an accident in 2012 which affected the use of my left hand. The quality of my life was affected I had to change jobs and start driving an auto car.

I have been on strong painkillers for a long time even after surgery, I still experienced some pain but was reduced from a scale of 9 to 5. Before my surgery, I had steroid injections which have some relief but short lived. I was sceptical about visiting a chiropractor after a friend recommended me to one. When I took the step of faith to try one, I must say it was the right choice! Physiotherapy did'nt help me. All I got was do this and that exercise which honestly brought more pain. Had several deep tissue massage which has helped in loosening my stiff upper back due to injuries and muscle memory of pain. Now I am not taking ANY Painkillers! My quality of life has improved tremendously plus I am more alert, feel great and can do movements I thought were so painful. I sleep well and wake up pain free!
