I asked Nick Stott at Homesure to sell two HMOs I owned and was looking to sell as part of simplifying my portfolio for semi retirement. HMOs are, of course, quite a specialised area, and so the market is smaller by far than for residential properties. Also, investment landlords usually look for best value, so sales of this type can be more challenging. Nick, however, rose to that challenge and pulled out all the stops. The sale took quite a while, as I expected, and there were some disappointments along the way, as some investors who arranged to view found other things before getting to see what we were selling. None of this put Nick off, however, and he simply kept going until we found the right people and a sale went through. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the extra mile was gone to again and again. I can only say that, throughout, Nick was positive and enthusiastic and one of the best agents I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I wouldn't hesitate to use him and Homesure again. More...
