Welll overdue review.  For several years Rebecca has been not just a thoughtful ear for some personal challenges , but also provided me a path for individual improvement.  She has tremendous expertise in a wide range of therapy practices and has a very natural calming effect.  She takes the time to really connect with her clients in a high that is supportive but also extremely effective to help you understand how to tackle modern day life challenges.  I will continue to seek her help in navigating on going personal challenges. Long overdue review. She is the only therapist I've met, so I don't have comparison points. But she combines what are probably traditional therapist practices with awareness, acceptance, cognitive methods and even Zen teachings (without really calling it out as some specific practice - I learned some things she covered were a part of Zen teachings after I "Googled" them to learn more) - it's a great and useful mix. To me, she initially came across as a bit uninterested/judgmental/somewhat distant (as a couple other reviews mentioned) but I put that down to her personal style, i.e. she did not come across to me as some TV version of a warm, approachable, tell-me-anything therapist. But her expertise is evident over time. More...

Rebecca is a kind, compassionate and thoughtful therapist. She listens intently, always helps me find new things to be aware of and to work on, and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty and tell me what she sees for me. It's a good balance of hand holding through the rough stuff, and then giving me a hearty push to move through it. More...

Rebecca is an empathic clinician who provides people with the skills they need to be their best selves. Her expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy allows her to be effective with a range of complex and difficult problems. I have referred others to Rebecca in the past and will continue to do so because I know they will be in good hands. More...

Rebecca is an inviting and thoughtful therapist. She blends her knowledge of evidence-based therapies with her down to earth, approachable personal style. Rebecca is especially skilled in working with young people in tech companies and startups. I'd highly recommend her to anyone seeking a well-rounded psychotherapist who is more than capable of providing effective help. More...

I worked with Rebecca Klein and found her very helpful.  She was thoughtful, compassionate and experienced therapist. Her advice was very helpful and she made a real impact on my life.

Awkward...reviewing ones therapist.   Maybe I should lie on a couch and talk about my mother.   Actually Rebecca is super friendly and I owe her a lot for helping me through a tough time in my life, 5 stars doesn't really cover it. I started seeing Rebecca when I was on Stanford Campus and she was working for the Counseling service there.   I was having some personal issues which I won't detail here (nosy, aren't you?) and she helped me move forward with my life.  I still check in with her when I'm having troubles and I've found her therapy very useful.  Rebecca uses cognitive and behavioral therapy and really stresses mindfulness and awareness.  I found this approach very useful.  She's really good at arming you with tools that you can use going forward, rather than simple solutions to a current issue.   As an added bonus she has later evening appointments which works great for folks with jobs and schedules that are hard to rearrange.
