What do you love most about your job?
I absolutely love watching downtrodden families enter our services and after participating with us leave with hope, confidence and peace of mind. It's amazing! There is no better feeling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Ladies and gentlemen, I started this business because I worked in the addiction treatment field for private companies and I noticed a need that simple wasn't being met. The need is for professional help for family members of people in treatment. I heard over and over again how unfair it was that the "person who caused all of our problems" is the one getting help and "I'm just stuck at home alone to deal with the mess!" When the person in recovery comes home, family members are still on edge and have no idea what to do. They're essentially traumatized from the addiction and that requires serious, long-term help from a professional. And once that wasn't really available but now it is.
