This is just a wonderful place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Despite the incredibly foggy day we had a great view of the harbor, lawn & fire-pit area. Service was very good, attentive. The menu is not long but there is likely something for everyone. Our party of four had caprese salads, rack of lamb, chicken Florentine, salmon and vegetable quinoa. Very Classy. Chairs and tables quite comfortable, tables are spaced far enough apart so that you are experiencing a great dining experience. Menu has plenty to offer as well as the drinks. A nice dinner--not perfect, but nice. Setting was superb and service was good, though we lost the attention of our server as our meal drew to a close and the busiest part of the dinner rush began. Food for the most part was excellent-- especially the burrata caprese and the blueberry ginger soup. Must see upscale dining experience in Bar Harbor when it's time to leave the tourist spots, t-shirts, and straw hats at home. Fine dining with exceptional service -- water glass level never below 1 inch! Menu was traditional and beautifully prepared, however, would have appreciated a more contemporary approach with creative pairings. Lazy Lobster was equally as good at more moderate prices. The setting is really lovely and the service was polished. The break basket had a real nice mix of breads. The other "freebies" were also a nice touch. We were less impressed with the steaks we got - they were really nothing special. However, the were done (medium-well) as we requested which doesn't always happen.
