We hired R+D Architecture to design two new offices, three ADA-compliant restrooms, a janitorial closet, and a new lift for our church. R+D was then hired to oversee the project. The result exceeded expectations. It is very clean, refreshing, professional, enduring. From the first time we met Will, he was very helpful, insightful, encouraging, accommodating.  His expertise and experience along with that of his team made this project the success it is. We had a very difficult process for a rebuild after our house fire. William was professional, helpful, offered us many options but always helped us make a choice. When we got stuck he offered many options, catalogs, local resources.
William is very connected to the resources in the community is offered us a local and national variety of resources. Although he is a well known and experienced architect his prices were always fair. He was very easy to work with and appreciated the resources of products already available to us. William was always available when we needed him and interfaced well with other professonals. From the first day we met them 10 years ago to design our first project, up until the project we just completed a few months ago, they have continued their great service and professionalism. Will Dohe and Ryan Welty are both extremely creative and competent architects! The design they created for our interior office space is nothing short of amazing and the attention to every single detail was incredible. We were so impressed with their work on the interiors that we even continued on as they designed every piece of furniture within our 4,500 SF office space. Will and Ryan are a pleasure to have as design partners on my buildings. They have the perfect balance between creative and pragmatic necessary to keep a project on target. An additional value is the hands on knowledge they bring to the table having personally rehabbed many homes in the area. When approaching the historical review board for approval the team was able to guide me through the process effectively. I hired R+D to design my gym and running shoe store. The results, and this is the consensus opinion, are great-looking spaces. The spaces turned out that way because R+D listened well and solved problems (there were plenty of those), was patient with countless changes, displayed a deep understanding of construction techniques and good design, was my advocate when I needed them to be, and--to say it all in a phrase--truly cared. We hired R+D to look at ideas for renovating an enclosed side porch on our house. We were unsure about possibly moving some rooms around and really needed someone to get us over our creative block in trying to figure out our house layout. Will and Ryan came to the house, listened to our dilemma, and began work. They were wonderfully professional and provided several options for us to consider. They were agreeable about meeting at the office or at our house to discuss plans, were able to take our ideas and develop them further, and were always willing to modify plans based on our feedback. We consulted R & D Architecture for an addition to our property that required someone who understood the structure and demands of old homes. We had a pretty clear idea of the renovation we wanted to do but had hit the wall with the final touches. Key in the decision to consult an architect was our concern for the structural integrity of the house.
