Rod brings 100% attention to every session. He sets goals, pushes limits, but also listens and responds when ideas, goals, or experiences change. His approach is whole-body, but he has the knowledge to help clients focus on muscle groups and results in focused ways as well. Nutrition is important to his program, so be prepared to look at food and drink as part of a fitness lifestyle. I highly recommend Rod as a fitness consultant and trainer. I have worked with Rod for over a year and have seen great results. Of most importance is for me to first understand your needs, goals and expectations prior to beginning the training program. My initial focus is to clearly understand what you are looking to accomplish, your current fitness level, your health history, eating habits, and any obstacles that get in the way of your success.
From there I create a program specific to you, based upon the above referenced information, as well as factoring in how much time per week you can realistically exercise. The program insures the greatest results in the most efficient manner, in a healthy, sustainable way. I want you to walk away from each working feeling better than when you walked into the gym, and proud that you accomplished more than you thought possible!
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
The key to achieving your fitness goals is first being clear on what they are, then having a huge "WHY" that inspires you. I will assist you with this if need be, and keep you on track through frequent contact.
Consistency is the other key ingredient. Together we create a fitness program and nutrition plan that work within your schedule and personal preferences. I like to say that you can't expect a meat and potato guy to commit to broccoli and tofu, just as you can't ask someone to workout one hour per day if it's not realistic. (I hate tofu too!) As mentioned, I set you up for success, so unrealistic goals and expectations do not translate into long term success!
What do you love most about your job?
It is hugely rewarding to assist clients with their transformation. Hearing people say that, "you have given me my life back" or "I feel younger, slimmer, stronger and more healthy than I have in years" empowers me and confirms that my work is making a difference. Not just on that one person, but the indirect effect their results have on their family and friends who are inspired and motivated by the client's results.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always had an independent spirit, a passion for fitness, and a desire to impact others directly.

Yes, I have an additional certification as an Online Fitness Trainer, and I have many clients who transitioned from in-person training to remote sessions via Zoom or Google Meet, or directly with my fitness app.
The online training provides my same proven strategies, along with weekly conference calls to check in on how you are doing.
