I arrived just as the store was closing because apparently the owner switched up the hours just after New Year's and didn't update their site, google, or their sign even though it's now been more than a month. I would have given them a lowish rating if not for the lovely woman closing up shop who did allow me to come in and swatch a few products because I drove all the way out there from Midtown. I truly appreciate her kindness and flexibility, and leads me to believe that this small business really is out there to take care of their customers! She even tried to get in contact with the owner to see if she could reopen the register in case I needed to buy anything, but I really didn't want to take up too much of her time since she was obviously just leaving the store. But if the owner reads these reviews, please extend my thanks to this employee and if you give anyone a bonus, she's the one that deserves it! More...

The Glamatory is my new obsession! So let me walk you through my experience today. After eating brunch at First Watch (the french toast and morning meditation drink is to die for! ), I walked over to The Glamatory because I've been wanting to visit for a while and needed to find an everyday lippie for the spring/summer.As I walked into the store, I was blown away by the beautiful decor and calm energy. I'm big on energy! I was immediately greeted with a big smile by Kenya (she's so awesome!) and she got me started with testing out some lippies. We had a fun time! MiMi was slaying a makeup client and was so warm and welcoming as she greeted me. What she has built is so inspiring and is straight GIRL POWER! I fell in love with every lip shade I sampled and ended up purchasing the "Quaint" and "NuD" lip potion lippies. Myself and family were in Atlanta this weekend for my nieces wedding. We needed a makeup artist that would travel to our hotel and do our makeup for the formal event. Raya was our artist. She arrived right on time. She had all the right colors and tools needed to give us all our glammed look for the evening. Mimi is amazing!  I used her for my wedding makeup.  I have had bad experiences with makeup in the past and I don't wear makeup most days. My makeup was flawless.  It was great coverage but very natural.  I still looked like myself and I felt great for my wedding.  She was on time and very professional.  She even recommended a great hairstylist which I used as well. The Glamatory is such a cute store with friendly staff and great makeup artists! I like the store because they offer a variety of makeup that you cannot find anywhere else. The store is super fabulous too! I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get their makeup done by great professionals, where you can have a great time as well.The best thing about The Glamatory is that it's one central location for you to get your makeup done. I love this place! I went here for Kami Cosmetics Event & was blown away by the decor. Mimi & her team really put a lot of effort into making this establishment one that will leave an impact. The makeup displays were perfectly stationed. There is absolutely no clutter. Very well spaced. I also enjoyed the diversity in makeup lines. She carries Kami cosmetics of course, PNK Digger (another favorite of mine) and a host of others. OMG! I almost forgot to tell you about the infamous Glitter Wall! Towards the back of the shop there is a beautiful glitter wall where people often pose & take selfies.
