Cori was so wonderful and patient. Our 9mo old can be a little unpredictable at times, and was not happy for our first try. Cori was so sweet to our daughter, trying everything to get a smile or two! I was not optimistic about getting good pictures, because of our little ones mood that day, but Cori worked her magic and there were some perfectly adorable pictures. Cori and Kevin did an absolute amazing job doing new born pictures. My wife and I were very excited to get pictures taken of our new baby, but our new son decided to be a little fussy during his photo session. Cori was still able to capture amazing moments that brought my wife and I to tears! Both Cori and Kevin were very patient with our crying (and sometime screaming baby). I cannot say enough good things about Cori with RattTrap Artistry. I was looking for an affordable photographer to take pictures of our large, blended family, as a gift for my mother-in-law. From day one, Cori communicated so well with me. We had to work around many family members schedules, including children's nap times and siblings who work the night shift. Cori was very flexible and when we had to reschedule due to weather, it was no big deal at all. When looking for recommendations on locations, we were looking somewhere north of Denver. Although Cori doesn't live in that area and had never done a photoshoot in that area, she researched and found the perfect location for our family.

The day of the photoshoot, Cori was in touch with me via text. She arrived before everyone else and started setting up and finding a good spot. Cori also brought an assistant with her that day, which I was grateful for, since we had so many people to take pictures of that day. They were so patient and so good with all 17 of us, including seven children under the age of 6 and two of our dogs! We received the photos (uploaded to a gallery) around 2-3 weeks after the photoshoot and I was blown away. Although I know Corey is just starting up her business, I was thoroughly impressed with the pictures. You could tell she put a lot of time and effort into editing them and making each one perfect. Cori and Kevin did such an amazing job taking our fall family photo session. Cori communicated with me a month before our session offering several location options and investigating our family needs. I am so impressed with how many digital photos we received. Cori and Kevin captured so many wonderful moments. We have a rambunctious 2 year old who we woke from his nap for this session causing him to be a bit of a challenge (those with toddlers know how hard it can be). Cori attended my birth and quickly proved herself to be more than a photographer. She was personally invested in my birth journey - eager to answer my calls and texts in the weeks leading up to my birth, took effort to befriend my son so he would be comfortable with her, and asked about any preferences I had for the photos. During labor, she was on hand to grab me things or help as well as take photos. When the baby was born, she was like a sibling doula, immediately jumping in to play with my older child and help keep him out of trouble while the midwives stitched me up. Cori and Kevin are just the most ahhhmazing husband and wife team. They had us feeling so at ease and comfortable for our engagement photos up in Evergreen. Even with fighting the cool wind and changing lights between the sun/cloud cover, they’ve captured some truly amazing shots that we will cherish forever. Cannot say enough good things about our experience with Cori. We booked a Valentine's Day mini session for my son, who was less than thrilled to be taking the photos. Once Cori arrived his attitude completely changed. She was able to connect with him, make him laugh, make him genuinely smile and have an all out fun time! We had the best time with Cori and Kevin. They helped with permits for Red Rocks. They helped us relax and have natural shots for our engagement pictures. I am truly overjoyed to have found RattTrap Artistry to take my daughters senior portraits. We had a pretty unique request of having her photos taken in an old movie theater. We pretty much thought it might be a shot in the dark to have that request meet, but Cori Jean took it on with great enthusiasm!
