I met Mike at a business start-up course in West London. It was the second course of its type, as I felt I had a lot to learn as I was just at the planning stages and website creation.
Since then, Mike has been a regular support and sounding board as well as a valuable source of ideas and support for me and my business.
Before starting my business, I was a professional in a large not-for-profit. I had know doubt about starting a business, I just lacked the experience of being a business owner that Mike had lots of experience with. They were a help, but the chance meeting with Mike was a catalyst that helped me take the difficult first steps in my journey.
Working together, I have a business that is mine, is led by my values and continues to grow. Even with the difficulty of COVID-19, Mike has helped to refocus my business from a face-to-face business to one that can operate online.
Mike continues to support me as well as help challenge my thinking, to help me believe in myself and my business.
As well as a coach, Mike has proven to be a valued mentor. He has a diverse background, and always finds ways of explaining things in a supportive and in a way I can understand.

What do you love most about your job?
Every business has problems and opportunities. The brave know when to ask for help. It is often the case that we can fix the problems others face, but not our own.
What I love most is helping people that are ready for help. People that want to grow themselves and their business.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was in the corporate world for many years. In my last few I was working with 100s of smaller businesses. I loved the challenge, and when the organisation I was working for closed down there were fewer choices for our former customers. My decision was to aim to continue doing the things I love. Helping people grow and develop.
Why should our clients choose you?
We have been coaching people like you for over 20 years. Most coaches only trade for 2 or 3 years. We have been working this long because we add value.
When you want a straight-talking, highly experienced professional who cares more about the relationship than the work's value, we will be great together.
Mike and the RapidBI team pull no punches. We say it as it is.

We are more than happy to work remotely. In fact, we have been remote and video working since 2004, when we ran a US/UK 2 day accreditation workshop.
MS Teams or GotoMeeting are our preferred platforms, by equally happy to use Signal or Wattsapp.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Luckily we have not had to make any changes for COVID-19, other than no longer offering face to face sessions. Unlike many other coaches, we have been using video technology for many years.
