I have been here a few times, good menu options, ambience, service and best of all fresh and tasty food choices.What made last visit especially noteworthy was I reached there 10 minutes before closing. They would typically request to take out at that stage.A brief request to the manager, and she immediately obliged and asked her staff to provide me a table, and stayed well past closing time to accommodate. I have never had Burmese food before. I am pretty sure this place doesn’t have authentic Burmese food but they taste good, and that’s good enough. It’s actually feel like something in between Thai and Vietnamese food. We were a party of 4, ordered a bunch of food and had a great time. Absolutely amazing. Was literally in Oahu a few weeks ago but this is 100% Better than most of the food I had on the island. We got the shrimp and beef dishes and both were unreal. I wanted to plan a surprise birthday at Rangoon Ruby and the restaurant went the extra mile in helping me do this. I planned this all over the phone as I was in Singapore (with a 15 hour time difference), and Glenda (who I was in contact with) did an amazing job. I sent her a photo and she got it framed and attached some beautiful balloons and placed it on the table. I had also ordered a cake online and she went and picked it up on her way back from work. The planning was successful because Glenda was so cooperative. Additionally, the service was spectacular and so was the food. The server checked on them multiple times to make sure the food was okay and even suggested some excellent options from the menu. The food was very good, and the staff was very hands-on -- taking videos of the cake cutting and sending them over to me to witness it from across the world. Overall, I was very pleased with the hospitality and level of service that Glenda and the restaurant offered. Whether you need to plan an event, or just enjoy some delicious food - Rangoon Ruby will not disappoint! More...
