Randi was super! She brought a helper which I do think is necessary to get good shots, and have had other photographers come on their own and lighting without a helper can always be an issue. From the moment I contacted Randi Baird Photography I knew they would be the one to photograph my family. I was looking to organize a multigenerational shoot while vacationing on Martha's Vineyard. My email inquiries were answered quickly and questions were always answered. On the day of the shoot I could not have asked for a better experience. We had 14 family members involved in the shoot, ranging in age from 8 weeks to 83 years old. They had many ideas about where on Menemsha they wanted to shoot and were very easy to work with. I was so grateful for their ideas, kindness, flexibility and enthusiasm for what they do. The photographers wanted to ensure our expectations were met and memories were captured. Randi and her team (Arletta + Siobhan) did more than take great pictures of our wedding. They helped us plan the photo sessions, kept everyone on track and were kind and courteous throughout. My wife and I aren't the most comfortable people in front of a lens, but Arletta and Siobhan brought great energy and helped us relax and enjoy the process. Working with Randi & Co. was seamless from start to finish. If we had a question, they answered it fast. Special request? No problem. And the pictures and final album are (to us) beyond price. We are so glad we chose Randi and her team (big shout out to Arletta and Siobhan) as our wedding photographers! We held it at the East Chop Beach Club in Martha's Vineyard, MA, and the beautiful pictures they shot not only capture the people, decor and location, but also convey the spirit and feeling of the whole event. They were friendly and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. It was clear that they scouted the locations ahead of time and planned some shots while leaving time/room for candid ones. We worked with Randi for the first time this summer (family photos with our young daughter) and were absolutely thrilled with her work! She was extremely responsive when we first reached out and she provided several helpful recommendations when we were deciding on a location. The day of the shoot was great as well. Randi and her assistant arrived early, they brought plenty of toys to keep our almost-two-year old smiling, and Randi's warm personality made the whole experience a lot of fun and relaxed. As for the pictures, we received them shortly after the shoot and they were spectacular! The hardest part will be narrowing them down to only a few to include for our holiday card :). Randi was amazing! Actually that doesn’t quite cover it…Randi made our wedding look like an actual fairytale storybook. Randi and her team covered every moment of our wedding weekend from the Rehearsal Dinner to the fun and fantastic photo booth complete with props, and she truly captured the wedding in all of it's beautiful and sometimes silly glory. The icing on the wedding cake (pun intended) for us was the stunning wedding album she created. We have used Randi as our official family portrait artist since the Summer of 2012, as our daughter turned one year of age. And each year we have the daunting task of selecting our favorite photos. It is almost impossible to pick only a few.....so we pick a whole bunch. Randi has effectively captured the personality and dynamics of our family within the context of our beloved Martha's Vineyard rich scenic backdrop. We intentionally wait up to six months to make our selections.....that pause allows us to find those photos that best bring us back to our Summer visit. She has yet to fail us.
