This was our first stop on the "Holiday in the Hills" toy drive. Our party of 17 took a bus took us around to the wineries. Rancho Roble was our first stop. This Vineyard and tasting room was so cute. The property was inviting, surrounded by vineyard with a private party area with cafe lights and fire pits. there is seating by a 'lake' are which posed great as the backdrop of our group picture. The tasting room was on the smaller side and made for an intimate setting. While there we tried their Chardonnay, Reisling and the barbera. the Barbera was definitely my favorite. Excellent vineyard with amazingly friendly owners who grow make very good wine. Multiple spots to picnic, and play areas for the kiddos. Dog friendly, and we actually had a "goldendoodle" party today with the pups enjoying themselves as much as the guests. A+++ More...

This is a beautiful bucolic venue. We went specifically to enjoy the grounds, which did not disappoint. Wine was very good, and the "service," (not sure what to call the lovely folks attending to customers) was very good. We went early, and it did become busy within the hour. It IS "dog friendly," which may or may not be a plus for those considering a visit ---- I have my opinions about that, but it was a lovely place, with water features, umbrellas, and even a bocci ball court, in the rolling hills outside Lincoln. we went to Rancho Roble for the first time last weekend and the place is beautiful with great aesthetics and amazing wine. had a great variety of whites and a great rose for the hot day with plenty of bold barberas for the red lovers. We got to talk to the owner and she was very friendly and eager to share her knowledge with us. we will definitely be back for more. while we were there we saw a couple of parties going on so if you need a location, this would be the place to do it. Absolutely stunning grounds and facility. Dog and family friendly. The owner let us walk the vineyards after asking permission and was quick to answer our questions. I cannot say enough great things about this place! I have to start with the owners/staff. They are the sweetest most accommodating people I have ever met. Every single time I come here, they go above and beyond to make our experience a great one. They are kind to everyone and genuinely want their guests to have a nice time. The wine is delicious, and the views are gorgeous. There's a ton of places to sit, or you can bring your own chairs. They usually have a food truck, but we've also brought cheese and crackers for a snack to go with the wine. Seriously this is the best wine place i've been to in Lincoln. This place is SOOO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL! The property is just amazing! I hesitate to leave a review of this secret treasure, but they deserve credit where credit is due, so secret's out! This winery is a jewel in Placer County: great wines, beautiful grounds, and EXTRAORDINARY owners and staff that go out of their way to make your experience a good one. It was not even a question...we simply had to join their Wine Club (zero pressure, by the way) because we WILL be back on the regular. We walked away with big smiles on our faces after an afternoon of tasting delicious wines and enjoying the views of the property . What an fabulous day! Such a neat and diverse winery. It literally has everything you could want. Ill start off with their cute(yes I used the word cute) padio where they do the tastings. They have great scenery with a pond and a fountain. There is seating all over the property to suit your needs. There is games for the kids and a small jungle gym. I have heard live music here as well. Also the wine is pretty good and on weekends they typically have a food truck. This is one of our favorite wine places to go to along the placer wine trail. My family and I love this place! We appreciate Kari and how she has welcomed us and our children, 5 and 10, and our friend's children as well. The grounds are beautiful and the wine is excellent. We can enjoy the weather and watch as our kids play on the play structure. It would be unfortunate to lose this privilege of having family time here because of those who do not supervise their children. This is a very special place! Kari (the owner ) has always been so welcoming to us and our children. We have visited with our friends and their children. We love to order OTP pizza ( they deliver to the winery) and sip on their great wine . It is great that they have a children's play structure. We happened to be there for the post below about the others parents being confronted about NOT supervising their children and have to agree with Kari's response. They where not watching their child and where not even within shouting distance of the child . We understand and respect the fact other Adults do want Not want children just roaming around a winery. Napa is overrated. We just discovered this local winery which has great wine and the location is amazing! Amazing winery, and we went on such an icky day! The owners made us feel very welcome and they are just the sweetest couple. So accommodating, went above trying to make us feel cozy. They pulled out extra firepits and blankets and we had such a good time! Birthday girl was set on coming back to this winery that she fell in love with, even on such a cold and rainy day. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor setting to enjoy amazing wine then this is your spot. It's a small family owned business with easy to get along with owners and friendly staff. Tasting is only $5 for really good wine (compared to Napa $50 tastings ) and their wine is reasonably priced for a small production vineyard. We love bringing food and our dogs and just spending the day out there. Highly recommend if you are anywhere in the Sacramento area.
