Lovely, picturesque place with great gardens and ample parking. Beautiful historic country house and gardens hidden within the valley. ||||Exceptional staff willing to help with everything to make the stay special. Nothing was too much, adding little touches to make things more memorable.||||Room was standard but could do with a refresh (I think they are in the process of this). Not enough plug sockets available for today's guests. Bathroom had a few undesirables such as cracked tiles, water stains and marks in the bath. ||||Food was brilliant from a set menu for our group but they adapted for my allergies without quibble. Lovely, clean, spacious room and good spa facilities. Picturesque location and had a nice evening meal in the restaurant. Slightly expensive however the service was excellent from Emily . After the meal went into the bar for a drink and ordered 2 double gin and tonics. Nearly passed out when I was told the bill was £23.60!! This is a ridiculous price, even the server seemed embarrassed asking for it, you would make more money on drinks if they were cheaper. Definitely would not stay for another! More...

Well worth a visit. A light, bright and beautifully decorated room in Laura Ashley soft furnishings and accessories. Staff were extremely welcoming and polite and the food was delicious. Recently stayed for a friends birthday. Had a real treat using all the spa facilities, and having a treatment. With afternoon tea and stay at the hotel. The spa was very clean and relaxing. Treatments were amazing and staff were very friendly. Afternoon tea was really special catered for every need. Our room was amazing, a spacious shared room within a lovely setting on the site. I attended a wedding in August 2019. I was contacted by the wedding manager Nicola as I had stated on my menu that I had allergies. |I am coeliac, I have a severe egg allergy, I'm vegetarian also dairy free. ( I would say my allergies are complex and severe)|This was no problem for Nicola, she instilled me with total confidence.. Nicola actually contacted me approx 3 times to check and double check everything .|When I arrived Nicola and the staff at the wedding could not do enough for me.|The food was lovely and the staff were very discreet.|There were no problems so I really enjoyed the wedding without having to worry.|The hotel was really lovely all the staff throughout the day and the evening were so polite and courteous .|Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.|Staying at Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel and Spa was a lovely experience and I would definitely stay there again.|| More...

We were booked in to another hotel who managed to lose our reservation, so they booked us in here. Not the best start to our weekend. But we were given a huge room, a suite really. From the day we arrived which was the Friday afternoon until we left midday on Sunday we had the most fantastic time. Nicola the events co-ordinator was exceptional, all our plans and ideas were met, very experienced and professional at every point of contact. ||Spa facilities are excellent, I have been to quite a few, but I must say these were up there with the best, massage girls were friendly and made us welcome. ||Our first night we stayed in the cottage by the bridge, the second night the bridal suite, no concerns or problems at all. My husband and I booked for a 2 night stay at Cwrt Bleddyn for our 25th wedding anniversary. We had stayed here previously on a few occasions and had always had a great experience, we chose to stay here again so that we could enjoy a relaxing day using the Spa facilities as part of anniversary celebrations.  |Unfortunately when we arrived an issue arose and we realised that during our stay at the hotel the spa and gym was closed for a refurbishment of gym equipment, on the Monday (our full day at the hotel) this obviously was a great disappointment, the receptionist apologised for the inconvenience caused. This was considered by management after I emailed and explained we had purposely booked the hotel to use it’s spa facilities for our 25th wedding anniversary, Simon the manager really and kindly offered us a resolution for the inconvenience . Thank you for your generous gesture. ||Hotel location |The hotel is set in a beautiful grounds within the countryside of Usk, very peaceful and perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. A short drive away is picturesque Caerleon with its Roman artefacts, museum, baths and amphitheatre, well worth a visit whilst staying in the area.||Room |The hotel and room was beautiful, we stayed in room 17, a superior double, which was very comfortable and well decorated to a high standard. However WiFi was pretty weak at this end of the hotel but is much stronger in other areas of the hotel. The room offers both bath and shower facilities, which was great ( watching tv from the bath with a glass of fizz was a pleasant bonus) Nice added touches with a good selection of teas, coffee, bottled water, biscuits and hot chocolate available also mini toiletries in the bathroom. Large comfortable bed and sofa in room ( as well as an ironing board and iron to use if required.) housekeeping was very helpful in finding me a hairdryer as there was not one available in the room , a high standard of cleaning was evident. ||Breakfast |Lovely breakfast with a good selection of cold buffet fruit, cereal, toast, preserves, juices, cheeses and pastries alongside a well presented full Welsh cooked breakfast with excellent quality ingredients. Nice friendly staff who were welcoming and doing a very good job at meeting the residents needs.||Afternoon tea|Highlight of our stay was our Laura Ashley afternoon tea, good selection to choose from in both sweet and savoury afternoon teas you can also add alcoholic drinks to the packages. Plentiful beautiful crafted sandwiches, scones, cakes and more on the sweet selection as well as cawl, prawn cocktail, sausage rolls, pies on the savoury selection. The Laura Ashley room is beautifully decorated to a very high standard down to even the smallest details. We actually had the whole room to ourselves throughout our afternoon tea. Tom our waiter for the afternoon was very attentive to our needs, a very friendly and professional young gentleman, a true asset to the hotel. ||Spa|We got to spend a short time in the spa on Tuesday morning. Lovely area with a beautiful Roman theme, the wicker chairs are very comfortable and more in keeping with the Roman theme. Lovely hot tub surrounded with pillars draped in ivy, a sauna and steam room to use as well as a good size pool, a very peaceful environment. I saw a well equipped gym although we did not use this facility this time. Well equipped changing rooms including hairdryers and hair straighteners which was an added bonus. can I start with what a beautiful location very picturesque, we thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea cakes and odd glass of prosecco in the beautiful surrounding of their new laura Ashley rooms which is highly recommended after that we headed for the restaurant where the staff could not do any more for us its a wonderful place with great people pleasure to stay there gym has just been updated all modern high spec equipment ||the room was extremely clean spacious and a little too comfortable||yet again highly recommended if your in or around the area you will not be disappointed ||||thanks all

Had to book last minute due to let down at other hotel, we had to book economy double rooms that we were told were round the back of the hotel. Wasn’t expecting much due to the price/location/description but they were actually well worth the money! Plenty of room and cleaned to a high standard. We had spa treatments the day we were checking out, everyone left raving about how relaxing they were! Dinner in the hotel was fab, excellent value for money. Breakfast was also lovely and we even stayed for the two course Sunday lunch which again was amazing. There was 7 on us in the party altogether and being 38 weeks pregnant myself, we found every single member of staff went out of their way to make our weekend enjoyable.
