I don't schedule clients early morning or at night; I am available weekdays and weekends.
I teach correct exercises to: healthy adults or those with medical issues, children, youth athletes, tactical groups (firefighters, police officers, military). While teaching strength and conditioning, I always stress injury prevention.
I see all types of people (runners, exercisers in the gym, yoga groupies, etc., and think .,,”some day that incorrect exercise or abuse of their body will lead them to trouble weeks, months or years later.”
With the easy access to YouTube, Instagram, etc., people view exercises, even nutrition plans and diets without any exercise science research to back it up. The average person has no idea if what they are doing is correct.
We can do tough training but it needs to be done with gradual progression.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

By asking and observing. I, as a trainer, need to ask many questions. The client also needs to ask questions and be honest with me.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Be real. Be honest. We all can achieve "our dreams"...up to a point. We have to be honest with ourselves. We all can IMPROVE our exercise routine and nutrition plans, BUT because of genetics, body type and other factors, we may not always get that perfect "magazine cover" body for which we strive.
Nonetheless, we should always strive to be better.

What do you love most about your job?

Helping clients IMPROVE...whether it be body shape, weight loss, endurance, flexibility, strength, conditioning. Also, having clients realize that it is not always easy to achieve goals but improvement is possible. Most people believe that body shaping, strength or weight loss comes quickly; it takes time!!

What inspired you to start your own business?

For the first time in my life, I am my own boss. I am responsible if something goes wrong AND give myself credit if things go well. Also, commercial gyms seem to be more concerned about sales, meeting "quotas" & making money. The gyms always want to encourage trainers towards sales, sales, sales...and...quotas. quotas, quotas.

I have earned highly-ranked certifications and I keep abreast of current exercise science research. I am always studying and always doing research. Top-notch organizations keep certified trainers i the know of current research...IF...trainers READ the research. I often see some trainers teaching clients incorrect exercise technique. I ask myself, 'why they are doing that'
