My husband and I moved into our house over 3 years ago. Having the backyard landscaped has been part of the plan every year, but we've either had no time, no direction, or no leads on the right company to go with. ..until we found Rainforest LA. We could not be happier with the way everything went with Yosi and his team. Yosi (owner), is great to work with. He is quick to respond, creative and very knowledgeable. He manages his team well to ensure the job is done correctly and took into consideration all our needs/wants. The whole project from start to finish took 8 days - quick! My wife and I recently bought a house that featured a yard in desperate need to attention. We heard back from Yosi immediately and liked him the moment he showed up to give us an estimate. He was super attentive to our goals, and offered some great ideas of his own to save some money or enhance our plans. He made himself available if we had any questions, and checked in frequently to let us know what was going to be happening when. We are so happy we decided to work with Rainforest LA! They poured concrete for us and helped us with landscaping our backyard. Yosi was very hands on during the process - he sat with us to discuss our vision, advised us on pros and cons, and did a great job executing. We went to the nursery together to choose plants, and Yosi's knowledge was very helpful and made the choosing process easy. Our back yard is in the Hollywood Hills on a hillside with limited access was severely in need of complete renovation, something we had procrastinated on doing for several years because of the complex logistics of the project and because we had never found a landscape contractor who inspired our confidence in being able to execute the project until we called RainforestLA and met Yosi. Working with Yosi, we found he was extremely knowledgeable, experienced and competent in dealing with all aspects of the project. That included demolition, hardscape installation, landscape design, and a myriad of choices that needed to be made regarding materials, finishes, color pallets, lighting and irrigation, etc.Yosi’s costs were reasonable and when something unanticipated came up all options were discussed thoroughly with us and the cost of any additional labor or materials that might be needed were always agreed upon ahead of time.Yosi’s employees worked very hard and were at all times professional and obviously took pride in their work and paid attention to detail. This is critical to the final outcome of any project and a quality that’s extremely hard to find with most contractors these days. On those few occasions where a particular design detail didn’t work out as initially planned, Yosi was gracious and collaborated with us in figuring out our options to achieve the finished product we were looking for. I can’t say enough about both the quality of work and the customer service my wife and I received from Rainforest LA. We hired Yosef and his crew to redo the backyard. They turned a dirt pit with patches of dead grass into the most popular, and most relaxing part of the house. This was my second experience with Rainforest and they again impressed me on their delivery. Yosi and team did a great job on an income property that required some landscaping. Their work was all encompassing and everything was under one roof. This included: metal work, electrical, plumbing, concrete and of course the actual landscaping itself. They had a full schedule when they took this on, so it was slightly delayed, but they met a key requirement of mine if some immediate metal work and delivered in spades. RainforestLA did four jobs for me:
Replaced a leaning and partially collapsed cinder block property wall.
Replaced a leaning cinder block retaining wall.
Removed the back yard concrete slabs that had lifted and tilted as the retaining wall had leaned, and put in a new continuous concrete surface.
Removed the front yard driveway that had cracks and an ugly patch from having replaced the sewer line, and put in a new driveway, including a drain to eliminate the puddle that had always formed in front of the porch when it rained, and laid tile on the concrete porch.

Yosi was a pleasure to work with. From the moment my wife and I met him we felt at ease and felt we could trust him completely. Yosi was extremely fast and always delivered what he promised on time, if not earlier.  We completed our first phase of the front and back garden within 2 weeks from the moment we met him.  This included Idea/vision, planning, and execution.  We were happy to have our garden and patio ready for our winter visitors and friends.  He also worked with our sprinkler guy to ensure the design and irrigation worked smoothly.  He has been following up with us to ensure all the plants we got are growing and functioning as expected.   He gladly incorporated some of my ideas, and enhanced them to ensure that they were realistic and long lasting. Rainforest LA executed our entire yard remodel: back, front, side. They did complete demo, custom planting boxes, pathways, new planting, and irrigation installation. We are extremely happy; they finished on budget and ahead of schedule. I highly recommend them.I had 3 landscape companies quote out my project: one top-of-the-line design group and two more 'regular' contractors, of which Rainforest LA was one. Yosi of Rainforest LA was the most prompt, with a proposal the very same day, the most reasonably priced, and overall had the greatest air of ease to work with (quick to understand what was needed, provide options, make it happen, end up on budget and on time). After signing, the project was estimated to take 2 weeks, but in fact it was completed 100% on budget and per the specifications in a week and a half. The team was there promptly at 7:30 every day and worked hard, non-stop the entire time they were on site. Yosi came to coordinate with us and supervise the team / assess the progress every single day. The materials that he chooses (e.g., outdoor lighting, irrigation, wood) are high-end; he does not cut corners here. The plants and organic material (e.g., mulch) that he uses are strictly organic, which I also appreciate. When we ran low of some existing gravel we were reusing in the new design, he threw in some material for free to complete the look. He even came to visit a week after the work was completed to make sure everything was still as it should be and that we were happy. This is a company and person I highly recommend. They are pros, fast, experienced, reliable, and priced fairly. Full context: we were pretty decided on what needed to happen where and thus used the company mostly as an executor, not too much as a designer. I know this is a capability they have as well, and clearly they have a LOT of experience in all things from hardscape and construction to custom design and planting, but our project was predominantly executing. We worked with RainforestLA in this great project in Santa Monica. We had to redo the whole makeover for the front yard, back yard (landscaping and irrigation) and the driveway (new concrete). After considering several landscape contractors, I am so glad that we chose to go with RainforestLA to relandscape the home we bought.  Yosi and his crew are great to work with.  Working with our budget in mind, Yosi guided us to choose the right plants and hardscape to get the look we wanted, and he incorporated many of my favorite plants in the landscape design.They created a water feature for our pool, installed new irrigation systems, installed new lawns, designed new planting beds, planted a bamboo perimeter and numerous plants and trees, and built brick columns for our perimeter fence and gates.The crew worked hard, cleaned up after themselves and were professional and pleasant to work with.  They also were on time daily and completed the work on time.I will refer them to everyone I know.
