We have been to Raices around a dozen times during the last couple of years and I must say that the food is fresh and outstanding.  Very tasty and authentic.  The only reason I don't give this restaurant 5 stars is because of the music.  They put on this "noise" (music) which I think is reggaeton or something like that and they play it over and over again.  Please! get rid of that noise! This place was a treat. They were kind with the amount of sauces they give, and their portions were huge. The first time I went I ordered the 1/4 chicken, yucca fries, and the fried rice. Yucca fries were absolutely delicious, as with everything else. I was not entirely happy with the chicken, because it was just a bit dry, but I don't entirely blame it on their cooking, it might have just been the day or the piece that was given to me. I was definitely able to eat most of the chicken though because of their green and white sauce. Honestly, sauces save everything - and their sauces definitely saved my entire meal.Overall, extremely happy with my meal! And now that a good friend of mine lives in Manassas, I'll definitely be going back here one of these days. More...

This restaurant is pretty much a staple in my lineup of places to order carryout. Consistently good food easy to get in and out if it's not the lunch or dinner rush. I haven't been too adventurous with the menu because the two items I do get are great, pollo saltado or quarter chicken (dark meat), and favorite sides are white rice, green beans and plantains. I try the ceviche and the anticuchos and of course the chicken the ceviche flavor was on point the only bad thing was majority of the ceviche was scallops the rest was really good anticuchos flavor was very nice and chicken is one of the best

First time customer, I made an order of lunch special that includes a soda. After I picked up my order and back at my office, I noticed there was no soda. I called the restaurant and I was told I needed to get it myself from the soda cooler machine. I would have been nice to be told when I was there.
