Recently attended a family wedding here. Just want to say thank you so much to the staff for a lovely stay, so friendly and couldn't have done enough to make a family wedding a wonderful experience, especially Niamh and Mark. The location and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. And the building itself, rooms included, is just as great. My room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. But I was most impressed by the customer service. Every staff member I interacted with was enthusiastic to help with any need I had, and they did so quickly and professionally. They were on their own for the day & did a super job. On the second night, there was a barman in particular who especially looked after us all. Great staff. The food at the wedding was excellent & the bar food was OK! I stayed in #26 I believe, and that room was lovely. It has stunning gardens around the area which were all kept very nice and clean. The hotel itself was very old styled. Lots off wooden flooring amd old decor which was very nice. The hotel was clean. Tje hotel rooms were also very clean and we had a lovely view of the gardens. Its only 2 minutes of a drive across to clonmel town which has everything you need.all in all i enjoyer my stay and at 120 euro for breakfast for 2 people and the nights stay it was reasonably priced.
