Originally I'd thought about doing my wedding hair and makeup myself. I was internally grumbling at the thought of spending budget on something I thought I could do myself. I am sooooo glad that I left it to the pros! It ended up being 100% worth it. I received so many positive comments about my makeup and hair. My eyelashes were secure the entire night. I was really impressed that the coverage also lasted throughout the night, and that I had minimal shine despite getting super sweaty from dancing at the reception :)I did decide to do a hair/makeup trial. I initially thought about skipping to save time and money, but I'm really glad I did it. During the trial, Alyssa and I were able to discuss my look preferences and experiment with different colors and styles. The day of the wedding, there was no time for any experimentation. At some point, I decided to add on hair and makeup for my bridal party/MOB/MOG and am also really glad I did. It ended up being an indulgent treat for them. They also LOVED the full size lip color they received as a gift! (I'd thought no one would care about this, I was wrong). Alyssa is serious, professional, and an artist at her craft.Katie was my hair magician, and was able to give me the perfect hairstyle to complement my dress! During the trial, we experimented with a few styles and she gave me a great tip to consider adding in a hairpiece. I am a repeat customer of Alyssa. She is excellent and truly cares for her customers. She was the make up artist for my wedding and engagement shoot. I have worked with Katelynn for color and style over the last few months and am very happy with the results.

Also, had a mani/pedi with Gina end of June. My pedi polish is still intact nearly two months, and I have received many complements from those impressed and amazed it is still intact.

The salon is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and relaxing.

Pricing is competitive if not better than others nearby.

Two days before my wedding (late October, 2017) Alyssa saved my fingers! I had gone somewhere else and left with a horror show for hands. Reason #8 why I love Radura Salon. Alyssa McKenzie's exclusive makeup. I recently purchased eye shadow and blush from Alyssa McKenzie from her customized make up line. I love that I can purchase such amazing products locally and directly from the designer. I had the misconception that I would not be able to afford her products. Not true! For just a few dollars more than what I was paying for my Neutragena blush and eye shadow I could have a superior product from a design professional. WIN WIN FOR ME!!!
