The size of the room and the quality of everything in it was superb. Breakfast the following morning was excellent, then a simple and quick checkout. Im no stranger to London or to the Bloomsbury area since I travel for work a few times a year, but this was my first time at Radisson Blu Edwardian Kenilworth. I was very happy from arrival to departure. We arrived late evening and were checked in within a few minutes (I had confirmed with the hotel directly the week before as well). Our room was on the 3rd floor near the elevators - which I dont love but it actually was not noisy. The room itself was a decent size for two people - great sized bed with a sitting area and the bathroom had plenty of room as well. My only negative was the firmness of the bed - too hard for us. Otherwise, clean and nicely decorated. I will definitely stay here again for my next visit! More...

Can't fault this hotel. Online check in was smooth and our room was ready when we arrived. Booked a premium room and got breakfast and £15 daily allowance to spend in restaurant or bar which we didn't expect. Premium room was on the corner of the building with large bay windows not very private unless the blinds were closed. Room had everything iron, hairdryer, toiletries and fluffy towels but it was pretty bare. No magazines or hotel information no bedside lights ceiling spotlights only. Staff were great best reception staff we have encountered. Location is amazing for historic tours, eating g, drinking and shopping. Will definatelly return. More...

Nice hotel that's a bit of a mix depending on the room you get. Once we ended up with an attic room (7th floor) where the hall had no carpeting and we were awake all night with carts rolling by and doors opening and closing. Then on another trip we got a corner room on a middle floor that had a gorgeous view (but there were roadworks and a busy corner below our window). Then more recently we had a choice between a tiny room on a quiet section or a larger room on the noisy 7th floor. So we squeezed ourselves into the quiet but tiny room with no view and slept well, at least. The location is great, and the staff are very friendly, so if you get a nice room, you'll have a great stay. More...

Our 3rd stay, staying here for 3 nights in a premium room Thursday to sunday, checking out this morning. Checked in on line and room was ready early which was a really good start to our break. On arrival and throughout our stay the reception and concierge staff were friendly, helpful and polite, first class!. The room 316 was spacious, very clean with very good quality bedding and bathroom towels. Plenty of cupboard space, coathangers and good quality iron and iron board. A very good range of toiletries are provided. The housekeeping was thorough, discreet and again excellent. Only less positive was the light switching was not wired properly and the room could do with a desk/floor lamp to make the room ambiance warmer as it is a bit bare. Otherwise excellent room.|The breakfast had a good range of food as expected and service was again consistently good. The bar in the evening had a good atmosphere however service was less consistent. Nice touch with the sweetie trolley in the foyer in the afternoons. Overall this hotel is in a great location, close to holborn (piccadilly and central) and Tottenham court road (central) stations. A great hotel with great service and certainly recommend staying here as you will not be disappointed. Well done to the management and staff, keep up the excellent service! More...

This is a well appointed modern hotel, with everything one needs for a stay in the centre of London.||The room, a standard double was not large, just adequate in size. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. With that as two old timers I felt this was a room and bathroom for younger people. Bed very comfortable for our old bones, cable TV, few sounds from the busy street below/ Lots of inexpensive restaurants nearby.||Elevators and doors need cards to do their job. Once we got the hang of it we managed nicely.||Breakfast was in the very pretty ground floor restaurant, with buffet and special orders, if one really needed it. The breakfast was extremely good with hot food table, unusual juices, and a cold table with cereals and a wide selection of yoghurts and fruits, not your usual items. ||The staff were friendly and always helpful. We need some help with a tap and the service was extremely rapid.||We were a 3 minute walk from the British museum, a 5 minute walk from Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road and a fifteen minute walk to Covent Garden.||I would definitely go back again. From first checking in until we finally checked out everything was excellent, but the friendliness of the staff really made the hotel stand out in my opinion. The Concierge staff were outstanding taking my car & parking it up then when i needed it back quickly retrieving it for me. My family had connecting rooms with lovely comfy beds & pillows ( in fact i heard someone staying in another room ask if they could buy the pillow from their room or could housekeeping tell them what brand the pillow was so they could get one for themselves ) the rooms were serviced to a very high standard having a fridge in the room was a bonus & the coffee machine worked well, having bottles of water left every morning was also a lovely touch, house keeping even came in the evening to ask did we need topping up with supplies milk, sugar etc. I will definitely use this hotel every time i go to London in the future as i can’t praise it enough. We have just returned home from a stay at the Raddison Blu, Bloomsbury. A lovely hotel but wow it was hot!!!! Someone turn the heating down! Also there were roadworks outside the hotel, it might have been nice that before we selected our room the hotel could have advised of the roadworks so that we could have selected a quieter room - the roadworks start dead on 8.30 am! We didn’t book for breakfast, we felt that the cost was high against going to other establishments. And finally, who decided on the bar/restaurant uniforms? Just a little off the page...||Overall a lovely hotel - would I stay again - probably not but only because there is so much choice in London and I like to try different places. More...

Lovely clean and well presented hotel. The staff were exceptional. Initially we had a small corner room, which was clean and well presented and comfortable. The only small imperfection was the carpet was loose at the door entrance but we saw it and so it didn’t cause us any issues. After checking in we had a lovely day watching a show and having dinner The Street Kitchen attached to the hotel (highly recommend). On going back to our room, which was just about the bar and restaurant we asked to be moved as the noise was too loud for us to enjoy our stay. The staff moved us straight away, we were fortunate they were not full. |We had breakfast the next morning before another day enjoyable day in London. E left our luggage at the hotel and collected it before going home|The breakfast was delicious with freshly made choices of high standard food. The only issue with breakfast was the plates were stone cold so it was hard to have a hot breakfast. Having stayed in at least a thousand hotels over the past 40 plus years, I have seen it all, from the sublime to the truly horrific. The Radisson Blu Edwardian on Bloomsbury is easily one the the very best run hotels I have experienced. The staff are tremendously friendly, attentive and alert. When they ask you if everything is alright, they really seem to mean it. And if you need something, they are on it. ||||I pulled a staff person aside and asked what ind of training they received, because things run so impeccably well. He explained that the three week long training gets everybody on staff in line with the highest standards of hospitality. Yes.||||London hotels are stupidly expensive for no damn good reason, and the Radisson Blu settles in about in the middle. It is not The Dorchester thank god, and I think it is worth every penny charged. ||||If you have to travel, and I do so virtually all the time, you want to stay in a place where the staff actually care about your experience. In some places, they treat you as just another transient passing through. But at the Radisson Edwardian on Bloomsbury they treat you like an honored guest. Whoever does the hiring of the phenomenal international staff is a genius. And whoever out together their training got it right, big time. Other hotels can learn from this place. More...
