Over the past year and a half Rachel has taken maternity, newborn, and one year pictures for our family. Her work is exceptional. Rachel has been documenting our family's growth since our daughter was 9 months old. We've done a photo session every year with Rachel capturing each growth spurt. That's over 7 sessions!!! My daughter loves her! She engages children and makes them forget they are taking pictures, this makes for the best products. In addition to the family sessions, Rachel has done head shots and boudoir photos for us, all of the above are creative, fresh, and exciting! Rachel is amazing at finding the best angles and poses that don't look overdone and are just as exciting on day 1 as they are 6 years later! My family has been using Rachel since our son was born in 2008. Since that time, she has taken our photos every six months or so, as the family grew. My wife randomly found her on the net and were are so fortunate that she did. Rachel's photographs are absolutely stunning. She captures the highs and lows with amazing clarity and does it in a short time. Sometime she choose random locations that may give you pause, but when the photos come in, you realize why she is the professional and the rest of us are the amateurs. She not only takes amazing photos but she works on them after they develop. As a result we can get photos that are near perfect. I see other family photos of friends all the time, and honestly I have never seen any that even remotely compare to Rachel's work. Even those of other families that Rachel does are mind-blowing. When we traveled to the Denver area from Milwaukee a few years ago, we knew we wanted to capture our son's 1 year milestone photos there in a special way and I researched many different photographers before picking Rachel. We simply could not be happier about our experience with her. We e-mailed briefly about what we wanted from our photography experience and then met at a place that was very special to my husband....the Flat Irons in Boulder. She made us feel so comfortable start to finish and didn't rush us at all....even though she basically had to do her work while hiking up a mountain. The best part is that we got exactly what we wanted in the photographs. It's been almost 4 years now and I smile each time I look at her beautiful work on our walls. Her work tells the story of how our life was at the time and the love we had for each other and our little boy so perfectly. Rachel Kemble has a true gift for capturing very powerful and authentic images of the people she photographs. She also has a heart of gold! I have been fortunate to have worked with her personally and professionally over the past five years. She flew all the way to Virginia for three straight years to photograph young breast cancer survivors for A Calendar to Live By, an annual project of Beyond Boobs!
