This lady! I may be a little biased, but I loved working with her! She took our engagement photos and they are marvelous! My now husband and I aren’t always keen to pose, but she made it easy and natural . She caught real smiles and laughter and those special looks between us. She also goes above and beyond! She took photos for us at two locations and one was the State Fair—homegirl sprawled out on the ground for a couple of shots! I have a photo book with all of them, and I love looking through it! Rachel is an amazing photographer, but our experience with her was so much more. She had wonderful ideas for photo ops, but we never felt that she was hindering the flow of things or getting in the way. The majority of our wedding party was from out of state, so there was no get-to-know the wedding party prior to the big day. Everyone was absolutely in love with Rachel, very comfortable continuing to go about their business without feeling rushed or staged. What inspired you to start your own business?
It was a friend's wedding. I had taken portraits but not jumped into weddings because I was afraid but after being in a situation where there was someone in need and jumping in I feel in love with being

Because I know how to help you feel amazing, confident and relaxed in front of a camera. I take the time to see and capture moments between the pose, between the moment. I love capturing candids of people having joy and find that even in posing, that I create candidity (is that even a word... but you know what I mean) by helping there be natural movements and reactions.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I wear masks at events just to be safe and cautious. I avoid contact that is unnecessary in my general life as well :D
