Its been a while since I needed an electrician, so I did my share of research before picking R & A Enterprises. Â They truly do deserve to be a 5 star rated company. The communication with Rick over the yelp messaging system and email was phenomenal. Â Our originally scheduled appointment became a problem for me, I sent Rick a note, and he changed the appointment. Â THEN, the snow storm put me in a place where I could not make it to the property to meet the electrician, so very easily Rick changed the appointment again. Â All my questions were answered by Rick. Â Thank you so very much.Then Daniel showed up to do the work. Â He called me when he was on his way, and he showed up on time, as expected. Â He very quickly got to work doing some troubleshooting. Â By the time he was done, he figured out why I had a problem, and resolved that problem very quickly. Â Since we still had some time on the 2 hour minimum, I was prepared and I had Daniel fix several things, install some dimmers and a new dryer outlet, install a light, and had him fix a noise coming from the bathroom fan. Daniel was very knowledgeable and prepared, he was also respectful of me, the property, his company and his profession. Â Next time I need any electrical work, R & A will be my provider of choice, and I will ask for Daniel. Â I am happy to report that between Rick and Daniel, I have a fantastic experience, and I would recommend R & H to my friends, family and neighbors. More...

Had an issue with electrical outlets not working, was overcharged by a previous contractor a couple hundred bucks. I was in a jam and Rick's two guys, Shaun and Gabe came to the rescue. Â They did an excellent job of moving a light switch, installation of a new gfi socket and install of my super duper light/Bluetooth music and fan all in one unit in the ceiling. Â Equally important, they were both proficient at cutting drywall. Very knowledgeable, efficient use of their time and polite, honest and respectful. What more could a gal hope for? R&A was able to provide us a fast and reasonable estimate then turn around and complete the work within days. Â The guy who did the estimate was not the same one who did the work. Â It's obvious they communicate well within their business (that definitely is not normally the case). Â I work from home and the guy who did the work asked me when my conference calls were so he would be sure to not disturb me. Â It's clear the original guy who did the estimate passed that information along to him and he cared enough to accommodate my needs. Â I would definitely recommend this company again. Full disclosure, R&A did not get to do any work for our house. We were selling our home and got caught in a bind on inspection objection timing about electrical work requests. Rick was immediately responsive to my shot-in-the-dark questions through Yelp and gave us enough information through correspondence (even after knowing we were the sellers and weren't planning to hire out for work) that we were able to make a decision.
