Stopped in for a couple of drinks and some food. Gin cocktails were ok, and were mixed heavier than I generally expect for those types of drinks. However, I probably should have ordered whiskey here anyway. The menu has some interesting items, but I went with the patty melt and a side of onion rings. The patty melt was solid and not trying to be a thing other than a patty melt. Perfect. The onion rings are beer battered and after tasting the first one, I had a hard time comprehending the fact that I have never had an onion ring like that. The batter gave them a different flavor and they were great!My friend ordered The Barnburner, a chicken sandwich with bacon and an egg. It looked awesome so I convinced him to let me have a bite and it was as good as it looked. Excellent.The only complaint I have is that service was a bit slow, so I've left of a star for that.
