Moved to Kelowna from Saskatchewan in 2018, and every time I've visited Sapphire its been an incredible time! Back in Sask, we heard stories of how awesome the scene was here in Kelowna, and having a background in Bass music, we understood that Sapphire has been a fundamental part of many big BC producers success stories! The venue is cool, most of the staff are personable and friendly, and they always book great acts to come and play! Most recently I was at one of the Footwerk events, and lost some very sentimental items I had been wearing that night. When I called and inquired about lost and found the owner, (Eddie) was totally empathetic relating to how sentimental the items I had lost were, and said he'd do whatever he could to help me track down my lost things. When I called to let him know that they were returned to me by another patron he was so happy to hear the news, and made sure I was invited to the next event! Also, one of his bouncers (I didn't catch his name) approached me in the club and let me know about some suspicious behavior another patron was showing towards me, and wouldn't let me leave his sight till he felt that I was safe. After working in the nightlife industry for many years I'm happy to say that the management and staff of Sapphire nightclub are genuine and are always trying their best to keep the patrons safe and looked after.Big thanks to Eddie and his team! Went out on a Saturday night, bartenders and staff were a delight, everyone was friendly, drinks were fantastic. Ended up losing my car key like an idiot, but the staff found it and came in on their day off Sunday to make sure I could get back into my car. Had a lot of fun here, it was super packed but worth it, the line took a good 40 minutes which was a bit inconvenient considering clubs where I’m from can have a line cleared in a matter of minutes, maybe there’s a limit idk I wasn’t too mad, it comes with going out. The crowd is a lot more touchy feely compared to other places however the way the club handles it is truly amazing, saw a sign for a code shot for when you’re being harassed or followed etc. Which literally had me cryin in the club, the staff were great, bartenders were fast, and the cover wasn’t a high price, can’t wait to come back.
