Danny Depiazza and Dave Reed (formerly Quinlan & Reed) were hired by my family in 2015 to build a tree house and play structure in our back yard. I was already familiar with their professionalism and integrity when they had worked on my 2010 home remodel (as employees of another Sacramento builder at that time). Our project, although smaller than their other jobs, really meant a lot to our family. They were gracious enough to fit us into their busy schedule and the result was top notch. They listened to our ideas and helped us create a structure that would fit well in the yard space we had available. I highly recommend Depiazza and Reed. We hired DePiazza and Reed (formerly Quinlan and Reed) as the general contractor for our Arden Park 1950 ranch home remodel in 2015/16. At the outset, they patiently worked with us to help us make design and build adjustments that addressed our budget constraints while still providing quality work. Danny DePiazza was the primary foreman on our job and he was always very polite, responsive and professional. We love how our home turned out and feel that they gave us quality work. I have yet to meet a person who has completed a remodel or a build without some form of frustration related to timing, cost containment or miscommunications regarding expectations. Our project was no exception. We ran into bouts of miscommunication and alignment on expectations and a few issues with their subcontractor’s work product. However, in each instance they worked with us to come to a reasonable solution that addressed and satisfied our concerns. We have recommended them in the past and we would recommend them again. DePiazza and Reed (formerly Quinlan and Reed) handled the remodel of two bathrooms, reconfiguration of bedrooms/hallway and a 500 sq foot addition of a master bedroom and bathroom. The quality of their work was excellent and they were very responsive to our questions/concerns and we had the utmost confidence that they would do the job correctly and go out of their way to make sure we were happy. We trusted their team and enjoyed working with them. They also stuck to our budget and worked with us when we decided to scale back certain elements of the project. Their framing and cabinetry work was outstanding. Danny was always reachable and stopped by frequently to check on progress and see if we had questions or concerns.
